About Me

Been single for many years now and that's been ok, but i feel emotionally secure with who i am and would love to meet my best friend who i can love for the rest of my life and grow old with. I have three great adult children with three grand babies and my heart is so full with the love I have for those little ones! I like to: read for pleasure, fish, hike, camp out, (anything outdoors), dine out, and take walks in the park. I also enjoy a good movie every now and again. I attend church weekly (my faith is very important to me) and I have a strong, personal relationship with Christ. I have a life plan and would really like to begin work on my Masters Degree within the next 2 years. My goal is to eventually teach nursing to students.-). I would really like to meet a nice man with a good sense of humor who loves to laugh. My ideal guy will be a Christian man who already has an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.Although I can and do have a serious side to me, I also like to laugh and have fun. Life is too short to be stuffy and serious all the time! They kinda fizzled this year :-( Maybe next year? I love attending live sporting events and although I'm not a Cowboys fan, I do love me some football.I listen mostly to Christian music (satellite radio to and from work...my car is set on "The Message") but I also like country and the old 70's music. I also enjoy time at home just relaxing. Home cooked meals are the best!Give me a shout out and let's see if we have a connection! Coffee shop would be a great first date. It's intimate enough where two people can sit together in a pretty safe place and start to get to know one another a little bit. Plus, I love me some good coffee :-)

    I've had the.good fortune to live and work in 9 countries. I've lived on a tiny cay in the Bahamas with no electricity or running water. I am bilingual and play at also knowing Spanish, my third language. I love good food but don't need to be in a 5 star restaurant to find it. I'm a down to earth woman who tells it as it is but would never hurt anyone on purpose. I do believe chemistry is vital in starting any relationship but to make it last there has to be trust, respect, laughter, caring and compassion. At this moment not seeking a permanent relationship, but a steady one. That can change over time. Am I want you need in your life ? I think the best way to meet and learn to know someone is to spend quiet time with them, conversing over a nice meal in a quiet restaurant, preferably one with live entertainment, followed by a nice stroll , if weather allows, on a beach, if not, down a charming area with shop windows, both fuel for conversation.
