The best advise I've ever recieved came from my mom, "treat people the way you want to be treated." I've tried to live by that, if someone dosent treat me with honesty and respect then I assume that they expect the same. I am strong and independent. I have a good job which allows me to provide for myself and to have fun with my life. I like to read and spend time making beaded jewelry. I hope to continue to travel. I have three adult children and 6 grandchildren who I enjoy spending time with. I enjoyed raising my children and gave them my all. Now that they are adults I am doing some of the things that I couldnt do when they were young. I have been skydiving, parasailing, and enjoy hiking. I am a good cook love it when people enjoy my food, but getting dressed up and going out to eat is great too. One of my favorite things to do is to take long rides on my motorcycle, no cell phone or call lights or other peoples voices to interupt my thoughts it gives me time to clear my head since I have a very stressful and demanding job one that requires me to put other peoples needs ahead of all else, my time alone means alot to me. I dont spend much time watching TV unless its something that interests me on the History Channel or a good documentary. I truley enjoy all types of music from classical to rap, I started listening to rap because I wanted to hear the music that influenced my grandchildren and I found that some of it is pretty good. Starbucks for coffee and conversation.

Hello and thank you for stopping by. Me, well, I prefer to see the glass as half full, even if we are talking condensation droplets. I love to laugh, be happy, work, and engage myself in life. I have never been afraid to work hard. As a paralegal, so much of my work day consists of stress and drama, so, while I am always happy to be there for friends and family, I try to keep my personal life positive and look for the joy which each day holds for us, if we are open to it. My divorce is long over, all of the baggage has been neatly dealt with and I am happy to say I have a happy, pleasant relationship with my daughter's father.Interestingly, after being married for the better part of my adult life, I now find it interesting deciding what I like and what I (perhaps) only enjoyed because I was doing it with my family and friends. Odd fact about me (not sure what it means to others, but), I do not understand why people find the need to post suggestive pictures of themselves. I also find it disheartening how many people believe that somehow being slim and fit equates to who a person truly is - especially when it comes to women. Why? The size of the person doesn't define their respect for themselves ... at all. I have to ask, how many of you who based your past relationship picks on what your eyes liked, and if you did, did those picks prove to be long-lasting, consiting of true happiness?I am not sure this is true 100% of the time, but have you found that those people who have worried about how they look on the outside, were lacking on how they were on the inside?I do not believe our mistakes define us, but rather how we deal with them most certainly does define our character. I love all types of music - I will even listen to some RAP and wish that I could move like the young people in the videos do. I hope to find somebody to enjoy life with, and share in making new memories. I miss having somebody to share the things that you share only with the special someone. Good luck to all of you. For my first date, I would like to do something simple and emotionally safe for both of us. Something that promotes relaxation and allows for communication, so there isn't really one specific idea that I can share, because it isn't all about me and my comfort zone, but also the person who is trying to connect along with me.
