Man. 53 years old. Zodiac sign: Cancer.
Looking for: man. In age: 50-60
I am a secure, down to Earth, easy-going man. I have a quick-witted sense of humor and enjoy the creative/artistic side of life. A great day for me can be spent at a museum or walking along the beach. I am looking for someone who is comfortable with who they are and is open-minded to exploring the possibility of a new relationship - someone who knows what they want. The ideal guy would be interested in sharing the things in life that are important to me: family, friends, music and of course a good belly laugh.

Ah yes plenty of space to describe a lifetime but I don't feel like writing a book here though I am writing a book on personal freedom and technology. It's a challenging topic! And that's just it - nothing worthwhile is easy including the search for the right person to spend one's life with. But the headline gives a hint that I'm looking for something more than a quick hookup. Nothing against those if safely done but you tend not to see the person again sometimes so developing something more durable is worthwhile. There's a whole lifetime to tell about I suppose but not much space to do it so I will leave that up for a private chat. How's that for a copout...lol. But I have been looking on these personals sites for quite some time and am truly amazed how few quality guys there are out there who are ready for something more. Maybe everyone has a lot of baggage by the time they get a bit older who knows? The goal is to meet in person of course. As for me, I enjoy travel, outdoors, sports (hockey, skiing, and summer activities like rafting as well), great restaurants (All kinds especially Indian and Malaysian). As I mentioned, I am writing a book so do enjoy creativity too and attending art openings and so on.Will get some more photos on here too shortly so bear with me I know this is SO important!I tend to take joy in the moment, in seeing the beauty of it whether a person or in nature. Sure, there is a lot of bad out there but the way to handle it is to see it for what it is and give it minimal importance thought not *** Life is about variety and the saving moment is the next moment....it's a philospy of life but a practical one. I like a variety of foods in particular Indian and East Asian. Also enjoy some of the old movies (noir in particular) and in moder movies adventure and some sci-fi.Well-travelled but looking to go to some south american or south asian countries in my next trip.NOTE: Please POST a picture of yourself here showing your face. .Equally important have a bit of a write-up on yourself and what you are looking for in a guy and something about yourself. Thanks. First date would wither be at a coffee shop or over lunch/dinner. That's the best way to get to know someone face to face. I go by first date impressions as far as seeing if there is anything worth pursuing. I won't lead anyone on if I don't feel there is anything to build on. It sounds a little judgemental to do this on the first date but that's experience talking and I have been burned by letting hope guide things where there was nothing to begin with. That's just being honest even if it bothers the other guy to tell him where I stand. Because if you are there in person for a few hours you learn more than you do on line.
