How would you like to meet an easy-going, down to earth woman who has a big heart. Someone who is intelligent and loves the simple things in life. It really is all about the simple things...kindness, compassion, consideration, sincerity. Drop me a line and lets talk...it could be the start of something beautiful. Something simple...meeting for coffee so we can get to know each other.

If you selected "I want a relationship" from the above, there's a good chance we're looking for the same thing. With the right person. I don't have a lot of preconceived notions as to who I am looking for, but if you have children it helps provide a certain mutual perspective. As does kindness, honesty, and good senses of adventure and humor. I spend a lot of time with my children and friends, and am very active. I have a yoga practice that I'm trying to be consistent about. I think it's interesting that this site draws a line at "Drink Socially" and "Often" where "Often"=>3x/week". I probably have a glass of wine or beer just about every night (so, um, 7x/week). I consider myself a social drinker. Not so sure what Dr Oz would say. I listen to NPR, and turn on the music when it gets redundant, or during membership drives (after I've renewed my own membership, of course). I like the way it enables me to multitask (fix breakfast+lunch AND get the news). I do not ***, but actively follow a few important accounts *** let's me know when Alternate Side Parking is suspended or not); *** makes me laugh (sometimes) and I think it's neat that God *** me.I love a good story, from a book, movie, play, song or friend (or a really great, perfectly delivered joke; I can take them but I can't tell 'em). And I love the different ways that stories move us. Apparently, I'm big on parentheses (see above). Ideally, once we have established via *** that we are interested in meeting one another, we'll figure out a time and place to make it happen. Nothing fancy, just some place where we can talk and get to know each other.

Hello,Not sure I have anything that makes me unique, I'm just like everyone else. I work Monday - Friday, live with my dog, spend too much time sitting in front of the computer. I enjoy most sports (spectator now but I used to play many), reading, puzzles, movies, almost all music (classic, country, classic rock, almost any except rap), walks in the woods, adventures, motorcycles, random visits/phone calls, and my time on the computer. If you want to know more about me, stop and say hello! I am looking for someone to just hang out with. Someone to go to dinner and a movie with, take a walk along a creek or through the woods, go to the fair (season permitting), take a day trip (find a new diner/shop), or just hang out at home and play board/card games. I can cook, but hate doing it just for myself.I am HONEST to a fault and appreciate the same in my friends. I love sarcasm, maybe too much. Yea, I keep wanting to add to this .... if you are only looking for "friends with benefits", a "kinky hook up", or well, you get the picture.... that is not me. I am not looking for any serious relationship, but I am not looking to be a sex partner on the first date either. I'm truly looking for someone that wants to have some fun, not eat alone every night, and maybe have someone that is there to listen........I keep busy, but am mostly a homebody, which makes it difficult to meet friends.***, so guess you can still say I'm "new" to the area. Work, mom and the dog keep me pretty busy, but friendship/companionship is missing.UPDATE 19 October ***IF YOU ARE MARRIED, I will find out, so don't bother telling me you aren't and thinking I'll never know. IF you are under the age of 45, I am not interested, sorry, but I'm not. If you lie to me once, I'll block you, just being upfront and honest about it.I was recently asked by someone what my "perfect guy" would 1) look like and 2) be like. Wow, are those tough questions to answer! But, thought I'd try to tackle them...1) He would need to be about ***. I'd look for someone taller than 5' 7";. As far as the hair, well he could have long hair, short hair, or no hair, that doesn't really matter to me. Red, black, brown or blonde hair, short/long/none does not the man make. Weight, well, again, not a huge issue to me as long as it is a healthy, proportionate weight. People come in many shapes/sizes and again, weight does not the man make. I'm not so into tattoos, but I don't hate them either. A few would not be a "deal breaker". Facial hair -- not so into full beards, but goatees are cool, mustaches (maintained) are good, and clean shaven works too!!!2) The important part is how he acts.... so, to keep it simple, here are some thoughts on that..... HONEST, trustworthy, funny, sarcastic, adventurous, supportive, kind, and a little quirky are all some things that I look at. I want someone who is okay with who he is and will be okay with who I am.And finally, as my profile states -- I am a smoker, if this bothers you, don't write and tell me that if I quit, you'll date me, cause I won't and you can't!!Blessed be and have a great day! A decision best decided on by both people. I can list many different types of first dates that would be interesting, but a first encounter would be in a public locale, something that is non-stressful -- let's go grab a Chipotle burrito bowl, a polar pop, and hang out by the water....
