I am a fun spontaneous person who likes to laugh. I like most people, have containable baggage and I am looking for the same in someone else. I have lots of friends and a variety of interests. I appreciate nature and like to hike and bike and would like to go camping again because I feel like I haven't done that nearly enough. I am not an adventure junkie but do like to get out and about, meet new people and visit places I have never been. I like simple things like Sunday morning visits to the farmers market, a front porch swing during a hell bending thunderstorm and day trips along blue highways with no particular destination in mind. I like scrabble, the sunday crossword and bloody marys but not necessarily in that order.I appreciate people that have raised children and understand the sacrifices and joys that come with parenting. Prefer someone that is kind, responsible and has an open mind and empathetic heart. I like to laugh out loud at stupid jokes and have been known to tell a few myself. The definition of masculinity for me is not a motorcycle as tolerance, patience and humor trump all toys. Interested in a normal guy that is a gentleman who can make me laugh until I cry. I think meeting for a drink in the evening or coffee on a lazy Sunday morning (after the crossword) could be fun.

    I’m a single mother to an active 8 year old boy. He is an awesome kid and the most important thing in my life. So if you are not looking for an ***, I totally understand and wish you luck on your search. I also have 3 beagle/mix dogs so you really need to like dogs, too. They are adorable and loving but total pains in butt and think they are in charge! I’m not a big dater, so I’m looking for someone I can have a relationship with. I know this will take some time, so please have patience cause it’s been a while since I did the whole dating thing! I would like to meet a nice, normal guy to do things with and have fun. I’m not looking for a male model, just someone I can be myself with and who is comfortable being himself with me as well. Someone who will accept me as I am, but who will also challenge me at times. Been there, done that!I’m pretty much a homebody but I’m trying to change that. I like going to the movies, the shore, dinner etc. I love the beach even though I totally burn if I’m not careful! I’m a big sports fan – love the Phillies (even though they sucked this year) and the Flyers. I was able to take my son to a few Phillies games this year and it was a blast. I’m a good friend and a good listener but I talk a lot when I’m nervous. I’ve been told I have a good sense of humor and can be sarcastic at times. I have been known to curse as well, so hopefully that won’t offend. My dad always said that profanity was the sign of a poor vocabulary, but I actually have a pretty good vocabulary :) I cry at sad movies and have been known to laugh when I probably shouldn’t. I prefer beer to wine, sleeping late to getting up early and jeans & flip flops to dresses & heels. But I can dress up :) Coffee or a drink to meet and get to know each other.
