I am a professional artist with a studio practice and also teach university. As someone who lives passionately and creatively, I'm a lot of fun to be with, and enthusiastic about all that's new in the world. I'm a self-starter, as an artist I have to be! and like people who know themselves and actively seek what they want. I'm very curious, about people, places, and love adventure and exploring both nature and urban environments. I've traveled to many exotic and interesting places and am hungry to travel more with someone who shares my sense of curiousity and adventure. I seek out unique and beautiful natural landscapes, archaeological sites, urban centers of art and culture. I bike and swim in the ocean almost every day, love to dance and horseback ride, kayak and paddleboard. I am always happy to be introduced to something I've never done before, and want to be challenged, courted, nurtured and love for you to make me laugh. It is important to me that we can be authentic together, no games or intimacy issues, please! I love discussing politics, a good chewy intellectual conversation about the state of being in the universe, whether you prefer milk or dark chocolate, what you like to cook, what section of the Sunday NY Times you start with......I'm very loving and affectionate, like to do yoga and give/receive massage.....I believe that touching makes us happier. What really impresses me is someone who is thoughtful and interesting enough to plan something, pick me up, and show me who he is in a natural way. It almost doesn't matter what we do, whether it is a daytime exploration, dinner, sitting by the water having a mojito and making up stories about all the other people, or walking on the beach and talking.I want to feel that when I see you and we begin to get to know each other, that excitement starts and you know you are already looking forward to the next date. I want to laugh together at the absurdness of the world, to share family stories, to feel like we can be the true selves we are and better because of knowing each other.
