I don't really know what to say about myself. I'm a single mom to a wonderful eight year old boy. I work full time as a RN ***nights per week and would like to go back to school in the near future. My work schedule is def not "normal", it can get pretty busy (so you might not hear from me for a few days at a time) but can also be really nice b/c I can get 5 or 6 days off without taking time off. My marriage ended pretty recently (we get along & parent well together, just weren't good at being married to each other) so I haven't dated in a very, very long time, & I'm not really sure what I'm looking to get out of this right now, but I'm up for trying something new. I'm not "looking" for anything serious, but that doesn't mean I'm not open to it. I've thoughtfully written this out, but this really is a "judge others based on their picture" sort of place... So thanks for actually reading! It's hard, since I don't fit well into a description box.Adventures: I've been to ***states and 8 countries (some more than once). I like camping and hiking and museums. I like places and items of cultural importance and natural beauty. I like trips to the mountains and beach and hiked in the local parks, too. Faith: I'm a church-going Christian. I believe in a loving God who welcomes all and I try and live my life that way. Books, Movies and Music: i can't live without my Kindle, Spotify and Netflix. I will read, watch or listen to anything that strikes my fancy. Somedays I run while listening to Sousa, or the Peatbog Faeries, or the NPR playlist for best workout songs ever. Mostly rock and classical with some country, some hipster, and some indefatigable choices (is Canadian folk rock a genre? Movies/TV.... Well, Sharktopus is one of my favorites, as is LOTR, Firefly, and NCIS. Other Things Of Varying Import:When I get bored, I start learning new things and taking on new challenges. Right now, I'm learning Spanish. I keep my place almost obsessively neat, but I never make the bed.I'm fairly certain my cat is possessed. I'm pretty much an introvert, I guess it really depends.... But I really don't sit still well, so I much prefer hiking or something active.
