It would be easier to say what I don't like than what I do like..........I don't like horror movies, don't like liers, scared of heights but want to zip line, and don't really care for liver,oh and you probably won't ever get me to eat that jello fish stuff, I think they call it lutefisk !!Of course there are moral issues I won't tolerate in a relationship but pretty much open to everything else. I am a christian and have a strong faith in the Lord and am seeking someone with similar convictions.I am an open book and can freely share who I am, no perfection here, I have regrets but do not live in shame. So if we were to take a walk, sit on a dock, grab a sandwich, watch a movie, go for a ride, have a drink,it doesn't really matter to me as long as we could talk and get to know one another, simple is good for me.

Hello,I have 2 kids... one is 17 and pretty much does her own thing, and I have a 12 yo son who still enjoys hanging out with mom every once in a while. I like going local and state parks, hiking the trails, fishing, and doing volunteer work.I've been a runner for over 30 years, I weight train, and I like to geocache, ...which is part exploring in nature and part techy ....I also play a couple of *** try to eat healthy and as organic as possible. Being healthy is important to me. Trying to withstand the effects of aging for as long as possible. It seems that every time I run into someone from high school, they always recognize me...and I never recognize them. So maybe it's because I haven't grown older looking since then, or it's because I never grew up, lol.I tend to be pretty opinionated on certain issues that are important to me, but am more than willing to listen to other viewpoints. I consider myself a person who sticks up for others almost to a fault. I guess the hardest part of dating for me is that I'm an extremely nice and honest person. I keep expecting and I know there's got to be a man out there that is just as honest and nice as I am...that is kind to others, optimistic and fun. I don't treat people who are currently in my life based on how I've been treated in the past. It seems that there are too many people out there that are extremely guarded by what they have experienced. For me, every day is a fresh start. I am very "low maintenance" and down to earth type of woman. I'm not into shopping in stores or buying tons of clothes...there are better ways I like to spend money. I'm financially prudent and stable...not looking for some guy to support me. But, I also don't need a financial leech as well...that's what my kids are for, lol. I have a great sense of humor and use it to help in difficult times by making light of just about any situation. I would like to meet guys who are active, have a great sense of humor, are honest, enjoy life, and are optimistic. Finally, I am looking for someone to have a relationship with. I am not looking for a FWB or a one night stand...so, if that is your intention, please move on. Don't waste my time or yours. Thank you....so, I'm keeping my profile up for now, but might be looking elsewhere for my new best friend. Due to the uncertainty of the future, I'm still looking to meet new people, but not looking to get into a LTR until I've "settled down". I love to be around friends and family, but I would also like to find someone to be with for the alone and special times , you know llike when you want to sit by a fire and cuddle.I enjoy working out, taking walks, going to sporting events and just to be outside as much as I can. I love having bonfires with friends and having a few drinks and just talking about our kids and what is going on in our lives; plus reminicing about all the fun times we have had together. I am proud of the person I have become since my divorce; a very independent, have self confidence and the best is that I am very happy, however there are times I wish I could be all of these and have someone in my life to make memories with .My friends and co-workers describe me as always smiling, makes other people feel good, sense of humor and very sweet (also a little fun sarcastic).I listen to old time rock and roll.. A few of my favorite bands are Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Journey, RUSH, Kidd Rock, MatchBox Twenty. Meet at a small fun bar that both would be comfortable at; have a beer and play 20 questions. I guess my first date would be simple and see how it starts out and then go from there if we have alot in common and find each other interesting then maybe check out a movie that same night or go for a walk, if the night is beautiful outside then I would like to just sit and keep talking while watching the stars and/or sunset.
