My crazy work schedule does not allow for the typical meeting and getting to know someone scenario. I work (nights,weekends and holidays) However dating IS VERY do-able, with some patience. I am an animal lover, spun out rescuer and sucker for any critter in need, including chickens, to know them is to love them! By choice I'm not a complicated person. I lean towards the butch side (I am fine with that label, for myself) I'm overweight, but trying to eat healthier. I like to workout at least 4 times a week. I prefer to avoid drama. I enjoy a simple life (living within my means) that is not to say I do not enjoy the finer things in life, I'm just not willing to sell my soul for them. I'm left handed (right brained, artistic) a "farmer" at heart, and at times a bit of a goof. I'm a hopeFUL romantic. You couldn't ask for a more faithful partner. In a relationship, I am kind and respectful, especially when treated likewise. Life is too short for lies and deceit, so I tend to be an open book. I've been told I'm easy to talk to, and I believe I'm fairly open minded. I work hard at my job. On my days off I like to relax. I love rainy mornings, thunderstorms,star gazing, bonfires and drives through the country. I prefer the outdoors to a shopping mall, and hanging out at home to the bar scene, (though that's fun sometimes too). I like playing pool..even though I really suck at it. Hello!People tell me that I am a good friend, wonderful listener/easy to talk to, intelligent, put others at ease, easy to trust and a lover no one ever forgets. I also hear that I am a "wonderful lesbian catch" although I am not really sure what that means. Maybe it means I have a job, no drug and/or alcohol issues and I'm not CRAZY (at least not in a destructive way). I am strong but vulnerable, sweet, quirky, intense, focused and passionate. I love to laugh. ... I am open to whatever the universe brings me really whether that means a friend or the love of my life. I just wish it would be bring me something! LOLI am going to school so my time is limited. I would love someone to distract me once in a while - dinner, movie maybe a beer or coffee. A refreshing diversion now and then would be SO nice! :) I love sushi...just about any kind of food actually. I like good times and good people. I love intelligent conversation and a quick wit. I've lived here a long time but have not seen or done much. Now is my time to explore a bit. Even though I have many responsibilities, I do enjoy doing outdoor things such as camping, and going to the beach. I am also an avid gardener, although I cannot be out in my beloved yard nearly enough. And despite my round-ness (LOL) I do like doing active things like light hiking, biking (I love to bike, however I need a new one so for the time being unless you have an extra that fits, this activity is out ....), walking, dancing, softball (although I have not done that in a long time), going to the gym with a buddy (boring to go alone) and martial arts (although I have not done that in even longer...something I'd like to return to). I also like indoor things like movies, car shows, art shows, tattoo conventions of course, and occasionally going clubbing. I will go along with you doing just about anything; I love to learn and if there are things you like to do then suggest those things and I will likely tag along!If any of this reverberates with you and what you want, then send me a message. The only thing you have to lose is a connection with a worthwhile person. My idea of a nice first date includes meeting somewhere quiet where we can talk and get to know one another better.
