! I am looking to make friends and potentially find a serious relationship later on. I have been separated for two years although we remain friends. I have two children and two spoiled, hyper dogs, a viszla and a whippet. I enjoy biking, horseback riding, and working out at my gym. Not much of a runner, unfortunately. My favorite reads are biographies, historical fiction, and psychology, (specifically neuroscience and mindfulness). I have an AA in Arabic, a BS in BS, and an MA in forensic psych. I spent eight years in the Army, where I learned a lot and met some great people. I workout 6 days/week but I'm not a fitness fanatic. I love meeting new people. It's like an adventure! I am happy and optimistic and have a reputation for being funny, laid back, very hard to anger, and comfortable in any situation.What's important? Education, sense of humor, manners on the road and with waitstaff, financial responsibility, healthy lifestyle, optimism, open to new things/ideas, cognitive/emotional awareness and self-direction. (That's to say, not a "victim" of others or circumstances.) It's always great to be able to do some gut-busting laughing! My next missions are bar trivia in DTC, Comedy Works, and butchering my swing at the driving range. Then there are all the great restaurants and rooftop bars left to try. Want to join me? Whatever!     K, a list of things about me, some I knew, others my friends decided I should disclose immediately.1. i'm tall. when i say tall, really, i'm tall. and yeah, the weathers great up here, you midget **stards.2. i'm a smart ass. huh. wtf is that all about? i mean seriously, people just can't take a joke now a days. 3. i'm nice. but if i don't like you, i'll let you know.4. but don't like any of the teams here. 5. i'm a sports geek. go ahead, ask me a question.6. i was in a band. but not the cool ones everyone on my space is in. it was a marching band. ok, not a marching band, but we did play on veterans day, and at basketball/football games. and this one time, at band camp, i... whoa. completely off the subject. 7. i am an athlete though. and i could STILL run a mile in under 7 minutes. but please dear lord let there be an oxygen tank at the end, and some sort of medical assistance.8. i speak 1.75 languages. english, i'm pretty fluent in. puedo hablar espanol, et je parle un petit peur de francais. d*mnit, no tilde's on the comp.9. i used to think that i could be on jeopardy. then i tried out last st patricks day, and while i got 7 out of 10 questions right, i DID NOT GET TO THE NEXT LEVEL OF TRYOUTS. total and complete devastation. and of course, while i sat home later that nite, sulking, my roommate was down in the gaslamp, telling people that "i lost at jeopardy, baby. oooooohhhhhh, woo oooh ooooo" yeah, to the song. seriously, how can you ask what the cubed root of 1,200,543,***is, and NOT let us use scratch paper. 10. i'm nowhere near as funny as i think i am. the whole telling jokes, and getting blank stares has clued me in to that.11. i'm too picky for my own good. hi, can you say perfection does not exist??? hey, i'm just looking for perfect for me. *PERFECT FOR ME IS NOT UNDER 5'10"!!!*12. i'm much better looking in person. just ask those who know me. i am blessed with a giant irish head, and while i've finally grown into it, let me tell you, bearing a strong resemblance to a walking blow pop at 13 years of age, SUCKS!!!13. i used to be able to dunk. well, on a ***ft rim. and i could touch the rim on a 10 footer. just couldn't palm the ball. hands weren't strong enough. but man, i could jump.14. i now have a 2.2 inch vertical. which helps a bit getting up onto a curb.15. have i mentioned i'm a smartass??? ok. that's all i'm divulging at this time. if you have made it this far down, you are a strange individual. lol. j/k. take care, and maybe we'll chat soon.A NOT COFFEE!
