Here's more on me: My passions:-enjoy all sports (especially downhill skiing, beach volleyball, cycling, rollerblading, yoga), -skiing is a big part of my life in the winter, but am just happy to share the experience with you, i.e., if you are out on the hill as a boarder or are willing to learn to ski or board, great! I do own a board, but have been predominantly skiing the past few years,-travel (used to live in Japan, Mt.-cottaging, canoe tripping/camping, -attending art and cultural exhibitions/activities (take painting lessons, enjoy the theatre, documentaries, regular movies, LIVE MUSIC!, dancing, wine tasting, reading, languages--team leading one this year and guided a blind cyclist on her tandem bike for the 1st time in the Cycle for Sight 2 years ago. I was asked to write what makes me unique. Great question! One interesting fact is that kids and animals seem to gravitate to me. Feel free to psychoanalyze that! I just started running about three years ago and I would have never thought in a million years I would be doing this now. Then again, I would have never thought I would be online dating either, so I suppose I am full of surprises! Earlier this year I also ran my 3rd Gate River Run and my first Warrior Dash. For those not familiar, the Warrior Dash is an obstacle-style race described as "3.;. I am terrified of heights, so it was really interesting and I had to jump over fire at the end of the race. I also recently joined the local adult kickball league and it's been lots of fun. When not running, I love spending time with my miniature pinscher (think tiny Doberman) and hanging out with friends. I used to shoot pool on a regular basis, but am probably a bit rusty now.- but strictly on a "for fun" basis. I am avid collector of Muppets memorabilia and love anything Jim Henson related. I am a plethora of useless knowledge, so I also enjoy going to local trivia nights.General disclaimer: If you cannot use proper grammar, I am probably not your girl. There is actually a difference between "your" and "you're" as well as "too" and "to". I can appreciate texting shorthand, but if your message looks like the coordinates of a game of Battleship, I may skip it. I hear guys don't like the pucker-up "duck face" photos girls post. On that same note, those photos of you without a shirt taken in your bathroom with your camera phone are just as bad. Trust me.

I am a single mom with a 16 year old son. I say that first, because he always comes first. He is an awesome kid, very little drama... thank goodness As far as me, I am pretty laid back. I am not into the club/bar scene. I would rather go to a jazz concert or a blues festival.. relax, listen to the music and enjoy the time spent with that special someone. I am not a big drinker, but do enjoy going to wineries or breweries for tastings.I am a football fan. Before you even think it,let me tell you, just because I live in Pennslvania does not make me a Steelers or an Eagles fan.
