About Me

39 year old, 5'***" woman who loves to do most anything! In my limited meetville experience, I have learned a few things: 1) I find it intriguing that the majority of guys are my height! 5'9"/5'10"! Why IS that?? Great height though :***I've been lucky that the guys I've met have been true to their profiles, but some don't look like their pics. Please post a pic of your FACE, not just a side angle. I have been told I look exactly like my pics. :) My hair is just longer now. I also am 100% true to my profile, 3) Please note that I am not looking to 'hook up', but for something more meaningful. Please leave the 'forward advances' and sexting for after we meet and if there is a mutual attraction. 4) I need to be clearer that I am looking to meet someone with whom I will connect, build an amazing relationship while having incredible adventures while building towards settling down, getting married, having kids....not in 5 years, but not in 3 months either! 5) Please know what 'cerebral' means. :) If you don't, perhaps we are not the right match :). 6) Please send me a message with a few more lines than 'nice profile', 'great smile', 'how are you?', so I know you have actually read my profile and I can learn more about you. So, what have you learned? Here's more on me: My passions:-enjoy all sports (especially downhill skiing, beach volleyball, cycling, rollerblading, yoga), -skiing is a big part of my life in the winter, but am just happy to share the experience with you, i.e., if you are out on the hill as a boarder or are willing to learn to ski or board, great! I do own a board, but have been predominantly skiing the past few years,-travel (used to live in Japan, Mt.-cottaging, canoe tripping/camping, -attending art and cultural exhibitions/activities (take painting lessons, enjoy the theatre, documentaries, regular movies, LIVE MUSIC!, dancing, wine tasting, reading, languages--team leading one this year and guided a blind cyclist on her tandem bike for the 1st time in the Cycle for Sight 2 years ago. I was asked to write what makes me unique. Great question! One interesting fact is that kids and animals seem to gravitate to me. Feel free to psychoanalyze that! I used to be a Bilingual Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Consultant- Coach skiing on weekends in the winter.Looking for someone who:-is male :)-aged ***...or so-loves to do most anything (not a requirement though)-skis or snowboards or wants to learn (and practice often :))-looking to date with the intention of SOMEDAY settling down, getting married and having kids-likes sports (watching, doing)-likes to travel-family-oriented -can go out and be active, but also chill and chat/watch movies-communicates, even when it's difficult/uncomfortableStill there? If I have piqued your interest, send me a message! Otherwise...Happy Fishing!

***If you're on here to just e-mail/text/hookup then please don't contact me. If you're looking for a pretty laid back girl with a side of sarcasm than keep reading...I have one question - I'm starting to think they don't exist. I don't want to say too much on here because then what will we have to talk about when we meet? I try and live life each day to the fullest and I would love to find someone to share that with. If you're interested don't be shy. If not.... Good Luck Out There ;-) Surprise me :-)

Woman. 40 years old. Zodiac sign: Scorpio.

Looking for: man. In age: 37-47

Starting a new chapter in my life and would love to find someone to share it with. I’m not interested in just a sex partner, sexting, or one night stands. If that is how you intend to start the conversation please move on. I’m not a prude but I'm not into starting a friendship based on sex. I'm looking for a man who shares my views on love, family morals and friends and is ready for all of it to begin, and who is truly looking for their lifelong partner and not looking to play around. Sense of humor, intelligence, authenticity is a plus. I think commutation is the key to a healthy relationship. You are curious about the world around you. You can take a joke and are not easily offended. You can spell, and are generally happy and you don’t depend on someone to make your life happy. The rest is negotiable. No Pressure! Let's just relax...become friends & get to know each other... and see what happens. Laughing is essential. A little bit about myself: I’m sarcastic and silly and like to joke around and I have a great sense of humor. I’m not offended by a dirty joke and can dish it out on my own. Sarcasm is a spice of life, so bring it on. I have a down to earth attitude, values, and personality. I can dress up or down but I'm kinda a ball cap and jeans girl. I’m not perfect and I’m not Barbie doll grown I’m authentic and honest and I tell it like it is. My life adventures have made me wise to the world and I’m very open minded and opinionated. I'm considered a very generous person in all aspects of my life especially in friendship, family and love. I've been told that I'm smart, beautiful and sensitive, although I also tend to be a bit modest too. I am self-sufficient; I’m not dependent on someone to support me. I have my own tools and pretty much can do anything I put my mind too. My daddy taught me well. I know how to speak my mind. I enjoy going new places and I’m adventurous to try new things. I’m looking for someone who will introduce me to new things, adore (or put up with) my wacky moods and keep me in line. I like all types of music and movies and I enjoy concerts. I enjoy travel, gardening, home decorating, Comedy Clubs & Dinner Theater, music, my dog, & celebrating special occasions.I need someone who is a challenge emotionally and physically and is willing to give in a relationship as much as getting. A man who ONLY has eyes for me & can make me laugh are important qualities! I'd rather be with a guy who has big dreams and no money than a guy with no dreams and big money. I must admit, I like a bit of a bad boy -- not an awful, I'm-going-to-treat-you-like-crap kind of guy, but someone who's going to push me to my limits and then pull back with a warm hug at the last minute. Truth is, I'm just a nice girl (most of the time) who's looking for some fun and companionship (not necessarily in that order). I love funny guys who can hold me spellbound with a story or make me laugh until I cry. I also love creativity and passion. Maybe it's your love of '80s movies, your baseball card collection or the fact that you moved across country with only a duffel bag -- it doesn't matter. The right man not only fascinates me but also brings out the best in me. We push each other to be the greatest people we can be. We bolster each other's egos and we leave short, thoughtful love messages for each other when we're away. If you're comfortable in your own skin, have a strong sense of self and aren't afraid to expose your flaws, I'm sure we'll get along just fine. I can offer a reward of lifetime devotion, long, slow kisses that last for days, offers a shoulder to lean on, someone who will hold you at night and a partner that loves to cook. What’s your story? What are your greatest pet-peeves and what makes you weak in your knees from joy and happiness.” Well, that is a little about me if you are interested say hello and we will chat. Talk to you soon!!” I don’t think it matters what we do on a first date, and I am a big fan of simplicity, so a coffee and walk would be just fine.”
