About Me

I like good wine, good food, and good travel adventures, but what makes those things even better is good friends to share and experience them with. I count myself blessed to have great friends who enjoy these things also. I believe having good friends are essential to a well-balanced life but I feel so is a significant other, which brings me here today.In addition to great friends, I have a fantastic family. My parents and my dad’s parents have been together happily since junior high and high school respectively. They work together, live together (duh) and play together. In fact on my grandma’s 80th birthday when she was trying on one of her gifts for my grandfather and he told her she had nice buns! What I have learned is that I am looking for someone with a similar background to my own and who has similar interests and values. He needs to work out and get out of the house and do things but who can also appreciate spending the night at home.’s Day is for people who slack the other ***days of the year because an effort should be made all year long. I am open to new adventures and meeting new people. For those who I do count as friends I will be loyal and honest with you, even if I may tell you something that you don’t want to hear and I expect the same from them. Often my affection for those in my life is expressed in the form of food and lots of wine, as is my family’s tradition.As far as traveling, I love it. I have jumped on a plane with less than 24 hours’ notice more than once without thinking twice and never regretted it. I’ve also missed flights and been stranded in a strange city but didn’t panic and made the best of it.So if any of the above interests you perhaps we could have some fun and get to know one another A good date for me is one where we are able to interact, so no movies please. I’ve purposely chosen restaurants that do not take reservations and have long waits so we do have more time together and to see how they react to the wait, perhaps I shouldn’t mention that… Oops!

    Well, I'll start by saying that I am very busy in my life right now. I'm working and going to school full time, so there isn't a lot of free time. But, I would still like someone special in my life. I have a pretty full life, socially. However, I would like to do more stuff around the city. I'm more of a daytime person rather than nighttime, generally speaking. For example, brunch is the BEST! I'd go to brunch any day of the week over dinner. With that said, I also love going to some of the cool restaurants for dinner, too. Because I work and study and seem to be going all of the time, I really treasure my downtime. I love being at home. I'm really hoping to find someone that I can walk through life with. It's so much more fun....and motivating, at least for me. That's all I have for now. I will continue to revise.

    About me...I have talked to friends to try to come up with the type of person I am. I'll try to make easy and give it to you straight. I am a teacher and coach and LOVE my students!!!I am a sports loving woman (college football - WVU, folk and freestyle wrestling, volleyball, equestrian events) who likes to walk on the beach as long as it's cool enough for a sweatshirt. I like the mountains and love 4- I've lived in Europe and traveled around countries in Western Europe. I like going to see musicals and appreciate the arts. I am not terribly creative, I do like to try my hand at crafts. I enjoy helping other people and trying new things. I'm on the thicker side with improvements being made every day. An old injury prevents me from running....although I have found I really enjoy walking 5ks!... I have a fabulous dog who keeps me sane.About my mate??I would love a man who is my best friend and is willing to be as adventurous as me. Try new things! If you have an extreme filth mouth...blah! I want a man who I can respect....I have found that if I lose respect, than it's not worth it. I want a man that will ask my opinion and be willing to hear what I have to say.....an conversely....will be supportive and direct when I ask for his opinion.
