I've been living and working downtown for about 7 years now and absolutely love it! I really enjoy my job and feel lucky to have found something that I like to do every day. I spend a lot of my free time hanging out with friends... normally we hit up a pub for a few beers on the weekend or relax at the beach. I take up any opportunity I can to go away (not because I don't enjoy the city but because I love vacations). Whether it be a weekend on the island or in the okanagan or somewhere else - I find it next to impossible to say no to a trip. The last couple of years I've been lucky enough to go on ***month backpacking trips in Europe & Australia. SE Asia is next on the list for this winter and I can't wait. I love to find different ways of being creative myself, whether it be making jewelry, decorating, gardening or sometimes even a bit of painting/collage.Other than that I like music, sports, the outdoors, concerts, cooking and the list goes on and on. My friends would describe me as caring, driven, independent, sarcastic, supportive and stubborn (but clearly I don't think I'm stubborn - ha!).
