Nothing makes me happier than having a paint brush in my hand, my toes in the water, a great song in my head or an excuse to wear a costume.My uncontrollable grin and sarcastic wit sometimes get me in trouble and I've been told that my "expressive"I love being outside and, although I consider myself a girly-girl, I love to dive in and get messy. Whether it is camping, surfing, kayaking, snowboarding or just going for a walk, I have to be active and outside. I did the Tough Mudder Race in Whistler last year (with an injured foot no less). It was such a challenge (mentally and physically) but SO much fun! Sadly the foot wasn't healed enough to do it again this year, but I really enjoyed cheering on my teammates!As an aspiring Journalist and self-proclaimed News junkie, I love to know what is going on in the world around me. I have a fast-paced, high-stress job and work weird hours, but when I'm not filling the teleprompter with amazing news content, I love to relax and have fun. I can be terribly clumsy at times, literally all arms and legs, but will be the first person to laugh at myself when I fall off an office chair and hit my chin on the window sill. (Yes, this actually happened and involved a series of unfortunate but hilarious events! ;) I have to admit that I am a bit of a height-ist... Comes from being the "tall girl", I guess. Nothing against all of the shorties out there (some of my best friends are vertically challenged ;) I'm just looking for someone at least 6 feet tall.If you want to know anything else, just send me a message!

Well I have had a profile on this website before but I didn't find it very successful. It has been a few years so I thought it was worth trying again.I have been a pediatric nurse for about a two years now and love it! I have also completed a previous degree...BSc-Biological Sciences major and Psychology minor. Now that I have finished my degree, I am looking forward to exploring my interests again and being able to really start my life. As far as music goes, I mostly enjoy rock music but am tolerant of other genres...except country;) I like watching movies (chick flicks, action, thriller etc.) and in the summer I really enjoy walking in the river valley or around my neighborhood (although the river valley is something that requires a friend as I'm terrified of who might be lurking down there haha). I love Kelowna and the mountains and all the "outdoorsy" activities they have to offer and try to visit every year.I would describe myself as a caring, compassionate, kinda silly woman with a big heart. I love all animals especially horses and dogs. I am really into traveling. A few years ago, I obtained my Paramedic license so I could travel and work with different medical groups. I spent some time working in Honduras, Guatemala and Roatan working for Paramedics for Children. Helping others is really important to me as well as experiencing new cultures around the world. I am very active. I spend a lot of my time playing basketball, All Sport or doing boot camp. I love the outdoors - growing up on a farm the outdoors became a huge part of my lifestyle and heading out for a weekend of camping or fishing; nothing beats that. I have back packed through a lot of Central America and spent a month last year in Europe. I am currently working towards going back to school and obtaining my degree as an RN (Registered Nurse). I would love to work in Emergency Medicine or Labour and Delivery. I hope to meet someone that loves the outdoors and shares similar interests. I have been on this site before but never found what I was looking for. At this stage of my life, I am looking to find someone I hope to settle down with and share a future with. I would describe myself as picky; I want to share my time with someone who is honest and trustworthy and we share similar goals. Maybe go for a Hike, grab a coffee. Something easy and relaxing with little pressure. If things go well, plan to do something were both interested in. * I want to add that I am not into one night stands, I am looking for someone who is serious about meeting someone and finding a connection.
