Hi there, and thanks for viewing my profile. I'm an upbeat woman who's been fortunate to live in many places and meet a variety of people. I enjoy many things, but anything where humor and laughter are involved is always a favorite. I enjoy watching football, basketball, and baseball; tailgating is one of my favorite things to do! I've been known to wager in a little competition every now and then, as long as I get a handicap and a huge head start :) I'm certainly a “girlie girl” (please don't mistake that for high maintenance) with a touch of tom boy and enjoy a strong, confident man who just so happens to enjoy engaging in friendly banter and teasing around with me. I'm an intelligent and driven woman. I love discussing a variety of topics, and I prefer stimulating conversation over drama and gossip. I'm confident but not arrogant. I'm passionate and sensitive but also strong and capable. I'm extremely loyal and very much self aware. I have a great capacity for love and life and am a very compassionate person.Okay. Seriously, I struggle to describe my perfect match because he could be basically anyone from anywhere. As I'm aging, I'm finding that I enjoy meeting men from different walks of life (don't get me wrong: you must have teeth, a good source of income, character, intelligence, and attractiveness). I've decided not to put too many geographical limitations on my profile because I don't necessarily believe that the love of my life lives within a 50 mile radius. I imagine he's imperfect and comfortable with it - not afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. He's attractive, in good shape, and takes pride in his appearance. He probably doesn't mind that I'm a little bit silly at times, and he likes to play and have fun. When faced with a situation that looks hopeless he'll start laughing and tackle it willingly. He's a lifelong learner and believes that a relationship with his love interest deserves as much effort as he puts into anything else in his life. My job is as important as his, but I know that in order for a relationship to thrive, both partners must put time and energy into it. What I've learned most from my prior relationships is that both partners must put effort and dedication into the relationship, and that once trust is broken...it's hard to recover - so don't break the trust. My guy requires some time alone, yet he looks forward to building a connection and enjoys the magic of chemistry - he likes getting wrapped up and whispered to at night....and of course he totally digs me (despite all my faults), and I feel the same about him as well. I do love the pictures of men proudly holding their fish or deer they conquered: it shows they can provide for their woman. :). Cutest!I hesitate to write anything negative, but there are a few things I want to put out there so that you won't waste your time. If you have commitment issues and are only here for computer entertainment or to constantly be validated then please pass me by. I believe a relationship should begin with a degree of friendship, a touch of butterflies, a twinkle in the eyes, flirtation, admiration, and an appreciation of what the other brings to the table. I believe that a kiss is very telling and vital in determining if sparks will fly. Further Intimacy is reserved for someone very special.* I can't emphasize enough that if you can't be faithful in a relationship, then pass me by. I'll gladly support you doing that, but other than my daily four mile walk/run and weight workout four days a week, you won't see me participating in any extreme sports. Fishing, hunting, boating, and skiing are more my style. :) I believe that an initial date should be at a casual venue where there is no pressure on either of us and we can have a warm or cold drink together.

Woman. 46 years old. Zodiac sign: Capricorn.
Looking for: man. In age: 43-53
Pretty happy with my life but looking for that special someone to spend some of my mom time off with. I have one teen who lives with me 50% of the time. Looking for the one I can't stand to be without, someone to grow old with. I am low maintenance and pretty easy going, looking for the same. I have a great sense of humor & am really good at laughing at myself. I enjoy hanging out with friends and BBQ'ing on the patio.I love the question "do you want kids?" Sounds harsh cause I love the one have my answer is no meaning I'm not personally having another one, I don't care if you have some.Only interested in local men - I'm looking for an actual relationship where we can see each other, not a pen-pal. Meet for a drink and conversation and see if there is any interest in each other.

Woman. 46 years old. Zodiac sign: Libra.
Looking for: man. In age: 43-53
I'm at a point in my life where I am ready to look for more than just being friends, although I think we need to start out as friends and get to know each other first. I'd rather be single for the right reasons, than with someone for the wrong ones.I love just about anything outdoors, and photography is very much part of that. :o) I enjoy helping/working with people directly, and am now self employed as a housekeeper. I used to volunteer for a rural fire department, and Habitat for Humanities. I prefer to look at the glass as half full, and I can smile at just about anything-even myself-especially myself. I'm not looking for someone that "needs" to be with me, rather one that "wants" to be there. I am a low-maintenance kind of a gal, absolutely not a "Barbie." You get what you see~and I don't even mind the occasional guys night out.I am not much for jealousy, control issues or mind games, so if you are, please keep looking. My family and friends are very important to me, and they are very much a part of my life. I realize we have all a past, so let's just leave that there, and move on. I'm ready, are you? I think a good first date should be casual. Not too much noise (like a movie) to give you a chance to chat and get to know each other a little. Coffee? Lunch? A walk?If we get to the "meet" stage, and you decide I'm not for you, a courtesy "pass/reply" would be much appreciated. I don't expect a spark with everyone. Thank you for reading my profile! Good luck fishing!
