I've been out of the dating world for a long, long time, but excited to enjoy good company again! I enjoy wine, dancing, any music that you can sing to or relax with, movies, talking, and even a healthy debate when appropriate. I'm an amazing cook, so says everyone that I know, and I grow my own herbs in the garden. I'm a touchy, affectionate person, who thinks that life is better when it's stable because there's enough drama and craziness in this world without adding to it. With that being said, baggage and occasional bumps are part of life, and part of what people share in the journey of getting to know each other. As far as music genre's are concerned, I'm a typical girl and I like the sappy stuff, the songs you can sing to at the top of your lungs in the car, tunes that make you work harder at the gym, the music that makes you smile and whatever makes me feel like dancing. Country, rock, pop, jazz, blues, some classical and oldies. I can't really explain what makes me unique, I just am! My only goal, at this exact moment, is to insert some fun, adventure and more smiles into my life :***No expectations or requirements. Whatever works :-)

Well I guess I can start off by saying that I am passionate about so many things but particularly family and friendships and MUSIC. I enjoy and am thankful for so much in life but I especially love music (did I mention that already?) singing/playing/listening, children, animals, SEAHAWKS, MMA, BBQs, cooking, anything on a lake (especially swimming), movies, camping, reading, gardening, playing raquetball, dancing. I have a 13 y/o son at home that is one of the centers of my universe... I also have an older daughter and a beautiful grandbaby.It's a daunting task to attempt to summarize so much in just a few paragraphs, so I will let you take it from here... I have begun to wonder if the description part even matters. So many people look at the pictures and make their decisions on who someone is....how fair is that? I work with young children and the thing I love the most about them is that they "see" the real person, they don't judge. If only more people were like little children in that way! There is so much more to me than my size or what I look like. I am a romantic at heart. I feel that there is someone special for each of us...that one person who brings out the best in you and makes you smile for no other reason than the fact that you were thinking of them. I believe that relationships take work but that the end result is what puts the smile on your face and in your heart. I try to give to others in whatever way I can that will make them feel special and cared about. I have many interests....movies, attending sporting events, concerts (variety of genres), hiking, walking etc. I am also able to speak a few different languages.....football, nascar, and basketball and am willing to learn more languages :-) I have learned from the mistakes in my past and I don't judge others by the actions of those in my past and I am hoping to find someone who feels the same way. Who says the second time around can't be better than the first?!? I try to find the positive in all things and enjoy a good laugh. I really enjoy being around someone who is witty with a great sense of humor. My youngest just graduated from high school and will be heading off to join his older brother in the USAF and I am about to enter a new chapter of my life and I am looking forward to seeing what gets written in the book of my life. I know I am not model material but I am NOT lazy. I walk several times a week, have completed Bloomsday the past two years. I hope to find the man who will take the time to find out who I am! I am a person who sees the strengths in others and I don't give up on people.....I would love to meet someone who is the same way. I have admit I have an ulterior motive for joining this site: I recently saw on the news that people in committed relationships live 10 years longer than those who aren't!
