I enjoy being out in nature, movies, road trips, going home to Europe on vacations, getting lost (to me, that just means that I ended up somewhere I've not planned for and most likely wouldn't have seen otherwise)...gotta see the positive in every situation :-) I enjoy watching my 11 year old son skateboard and him getting excited about little random things. For me, it starts that you have a great sense of humor and can laugh about yourself when you have a "blonde" moment, how you carry yourself, how you treat other people, your own personal style/note...what's your signature?? I like it when people have an edge to them...something unique. Someone I can have an intellectual conversation with. Someone who knows what his place in this world is...be grounded and established, know who you are. I don't do drama and dislike dysfunction; therefore, I enjoy a mentally and emotionally healthy life style. I think that about sums it up Mutual respect of non-judgemental nature...

I have begun to wonder if the description part even matters. So many people look at the pictures and make their decisions on who someone is....how fair is that? I work with young children and the thing I love the most about them is that they "see" the real person, they don't judge. If only more people were like little children in that way! There is so much more to me than my size or what I look like. I am a romantic at heart. I feel that there is someone special for each of us...that one person who brings out the best in you and makes you smile for no other reason than the fact that you were thinking of them. I believe that relationships take work but that the end result is what puts the smile on your face and in your heart. I try to give to others in whatever way I can that will make them feel special and cared about. I have many interests....movies, attending sporting events, concerts (variety of genres), hiking, walking etc. I am also able to speak a few different languages.....football, nascar, and basketball and am willing to learn more languages :-) I have learned from the mistakes in my past and I don't judge others by the actions of those in my past and I am hoping to find someone who feels the same way. Who says the second time around can't be better than the first?!? I try to find the positive in all things and enjoy a good laugh. I really enjoy being around someone who is witty with a great sense of humor. My youngest just graduated from high school and will be heading off to join his older brother in the USAF and I am about to enter a new chapter of my life and I am looking forward to seeing what gets written in the book of my life. I know I am not model material but I am NOT lazy. I walk several times a week, have completed Bloomsday the past two years. I hope to find the man who will take the time to find out who I am! I am a person who sees the strengths in others and I don't give up on people.....I would love to meet someone who is the same way. I have admit I have an ulterior motive for joining this site: I recently saw on the news that people in committed relationships live 10 years longer than those who aren't! Let's save each others life...I don't know about you but I want those extra 10 years! ;-) If you are interested in making a new friend...I'd love to hear from you.
