I enjoy working out at gym, hiking, beach trips, hanging out with friends, doing projects around my house, yard work.No need to apply if you don't enjoy being active, don't like kids, don't look anything like you're pictures, like to leave before paying your bill, can't hold a conversation (pretty sad when I have to ask all the questions and get a one -three word answer),.. I'm sure that I could go on and on, but seriously getting tired of guys wasting my time.

Hobbies....yes, i have them. I like to dig in the dirt, play in the creek, find cool rocks, take pictures of nature, stroll down the trail, sit by the fire, watch a Sounders match, I like to make simple meals from scratch with veggies from my garden and eggs from my chickens. Oh yes, and to try new things ;) Goals and aspirations....funny you should mention that, I have those too! Two terms shy of my BA at UW, so I need to finish that. I would like to raise a smart and well adjusted kid that likes me even when he is a teenager.Oh dear, the hard part...talk about myself...here it goes. You get what you get. No pretense. Not sure if that is a strength or a weakness. I am not afraid, I love fully and I am fiercely loyal. I am honest to a fault, I am aware of my shortcomings, intuitive, witty... I love anything that is good!! and some bad stuff too!! Simple, but with something to entertain us in case there is no connection. Coffee is just awkward...Something like a Sounders game, or watching the Seahawks at a sports bar. That way we can still enjoy the date. Oooh, OR what about something like meeting at a specific painting at SAM for a little intrigue. I'll be the one with the red heels on....Seriously up for just about anything (except movie or coffee blah)

Hi,I'm divorced with two young children. I have my children the majority of the week - and I love every moment with them. I love to read, write, cook, art and random gardening. I would definitely call myself an environmentalist. I seriously love to read - Powells is my favorite store. I prefer comedies and pointless action movies over horror and sad movies. I love my morning cup of coffee and chocolate. I love sunrises and sunset, quiet days hanging with loved ones. I am a teacher and find the job very rewarding. I basically live a rather calm life and like it that way. Someday I would like to see Europe, but am content taking care of my kids, myself and my students for the time being. I'm not crazy athletic but keep in shape by playing with my kids inside and outside. I am a fan of moderation - I love chocolate, ice cream and fried stuff - but not to excess. I've been living in the NW for a little over 10 years and have been crabbing, but not salmon fishing and would love to go! Favorite movies: The Princess Bride, Airplane!, The Usual Suspects, Shawn of the Dead, The Godfather. The last good movie I saw in the theater was The Avengers - some movies must be seen on the big screen.Favorite smells: Camp fire (but I'm not a camper really - I can put dirt in my food and sleep on a hard floor at home -thank you), cooking garlic, baking bread/cookies, vanilla, rosemary and thyme. Yes, I like good food.If you don't have at least one bookshelf filled with books I frankly don't think we will have much to say to each other. In your first message to me - please tell me your favorite book(s) and what you are reading at this moment. My music tastes range from classical to modern - but I don't care that much for rap or heavy metal. I love music from the 80s- Hall and Oats, The Police, Eurythmics, A-Ha, etc. I do sing along in the car. A simple coffee during the day just to meet and talk. No high expectations - just a chat.
