UPDATE: I guess knowing I am a single mother is not enough....I have two children that live with me, my daughter does not see her father so that means she is at my house 90% of the time. Both kids are part of the package, however, she definitely is the biggest part. Yes, her brother will watch her so I can go out, but they will still be at my house. If you cant deal with that then move on. A first date is all about getting to know the other person, so what it would actually be really depends on the season. If its spring, summer, or fall something outside so you can talk and just spend time together. The first meeting is a great time to find out if there is that spark there that is going to make you want to spend more time with the person...I have learned that even though things seem great on the phone, texting, or over the internet that does not mean there will be a spark when with each other.
