Is now the right time?! Could Mr. Wonderful be waiting for me? I have been single for a long time and have now decided its time to start dating again. I plan to be very picky in my choices. I have 2 kids who are my first priority. They keep me very busy but it's time for mom to start having some fun and getting out there! However I'm going to be very careful. I love my job and where I work and live, I have no plans to move. I'm looking for a honest, kind, funny, sexy, loyal, family oriented man. I'm looking for a best friend, I'm also looking for a man who knows how to treat a woman! I love a good adventure, music, movies, love the outdoors, watching my son and his team play hockey, entertaining, family time, time with friends and life!I'm one of those girls who loves to dress up and go out but I'm really the girl who loves to put her hair in a ponytail and get dirty.! Winters are meant for sledding and skating on the pond. We are Canadians lets enjoy the snow!!If you believe that weekends are for getting drunk and being hammered is your idea of fun, I'm not for you. No 20 something's, I'm looking for someone my age. I'm a country girl and that's were I hope to stay! Coffee for the first date to check each other out... Lets b honest that's what the first meeting will be about!! Does he really look like his pic's?!! Is there any chemistry? Does she look like her pic's? What did she really mean by "average" body type!!! Lol!! You know you think that!!

Personally, I don't think people can describe themselves truly, in a paragraph. I can start by saying that I'm just a girl trying to make it out in this big world *like everyone else*, make my dreams a reality, and to be lucky enough to find someone to share it with along the way....... I believe we're all unique in our own way's. Sometimes that uniqueness stands out for everyone to see and sometimes its a quiet understated way we stand out. So to say what my unique qualities as a human being are, is to say, get to know me. I can tell you that I have a big heart, love to laugh *it keeps us young*, and have a zest for life, love my family, friends, my dog, music, , inspirational quotes, lip-glosses & nail polishes, tattoos, the spoken/written word, beautiful fast bikes & cars, and intelligent minds. My ideal first date would be to meet somewhere we can get to know each other face to face.

OK.. here goes... in point form ...Words used most often to described me by other people.- short (thanks captain obvious***cute (not sure I like that one, babies and puppies are cute)- funny -- curvy ... (not sure how to take that but it's said often enough I suppose I'll just own it :***talkative - confidentI think I am best described as follows (in no particular order);- funny- sassy- loving- warm- exciting- geeky- hard working- passionate- giving - sensual- adventurousI like (in no particular order):- camping- history- reading- cooking/baking- Aikido - HBO- books and book stores old and new- campfires- Hiking - redwine- crown and coke- the gym (I go min 4 times a week and that doesn't count aikido***and I'm learning to like running ... it's a love/hate process I hate to start a run but love when I finish! - the smell of a good cigarThings I don't like:- arrogance (but confidence is sexy)- airplane food ... really ... shouldn't they have figured out a way of making that better by now?- spoilers ... honestly... that just sucks- escalator hand rails that move either faster or slower then the stairs ... so annoying - liver... YUK... I know my mom said I'd learn to like it .. .that was a bold faced LIE!!! - die hard fanatics of any kind... people who get that crazy about anything they didn't personally do, write or invent for themselves need help! - racists or prejudice of any kind... just can't stand it!!! There is obviously a lot more to me then a few words in a list... but I prefer getting to know people the old fashion way... I still believe the best way to meet someone is by chance in a public place .. or in an awkward moment through mutual friends... but since those options seem less and less likely as I get older... I'm trying this new way and hoping for the best...P.S. I fully intend to try and respond to all sincere messages I receive on this site. However if I don't get back to you please know I wish everyone the best of luck in their search. The first meeting doesn't always count as a "date" but it can depending on how well it goes... but the actual first date should be something fun... where there is both the opportunity for conversation and observation (on both parts) I like rock climbing... nothing quite like putting your life in the hands of a complete stranger... LOL.. certainly something to talk about... starting with "Don't let me fall"
