About Me

I consider myself to be sarcastic yet genuine. Incredibly family oriented, but independent. A t-shirt and jeans kind of girl who enjoys getting dressed up for the right occasions. And I am definitely someone who loves to be active, but also enjoys the comfort of a lazy afternoon. While it would seem that I am full of contradictions, I’d prefer to consider myself a highly adaptive person, able to make the best of all situations. I rarely find a person I can’t get along with and don't "sweat the small stuff." I love a symbolic gesture and believe most of the best things in life are free. I have labeled myself to be a “hobby hopper” because I am always finding new things of interest to learn about and try. Furthermore, I am a quote collector and love to be inspired. Like most everyone on here, I have loved and I have been loved. However, as is often the case with failed relationships, it has been the differing degrees to which each love has been mutual that has kept previous relationships from being successful. And while it absolutely sucks to be on either side of a situation where feelings are not mutual, I have shaken all that off and am ready to move forward. Hopefully, this time around I will stumble upon someone great with whom similar feelings can be developed and sustained. I guess only time will tell. Qualities I find attractive in a man: a take-charge attitude; an ability and desire to engage in friendly, yet spirited debates; a witty, goofy sense of humor; and an ability to tackle issues head on. Or in other words, if your first inclination when faced with a difficult situation is to run in the opposite direction, or worse yet, *** a situation even exists, I can already tell you from experience that you and I would not be a good fit.

    Wait, wait...I have to ask a question first... I have seen this same statement on several profiles now, and have to ask because I can't wrap my mind around it... "If you're looking for a baby daddy, you better look elsewhere, because I can't make or have babies anymore." ...Is this REALLY a commonly asked question of you guys?!?! LOL I'm sorry, I guess I just didn't realize that soliciting your "baby daddy" online was so popular...? Haha!I am a busy single parent and I love every minute of it. I love laughing and being sarcastic. :) I'm always looking to have fun, meet new people, and just see what the future brings..Oh, and I do have rules... I believe everyone should, when it comes to the people we allow in to our lives. They're pretty simple... If you're ***years old and still getting high all day and/or refusing to be a productive member of society (aka NO JOB)...you should probably look elsewhere... And if you're still trying to pull off the gang-banger gangsta front or look, I'm def not your girl! :)

    Willing to try this again...it has been awhile...Recently received my masters degree, and I have been so busy focusing on myself and what I want out of life for my education and career...everything else just seem to be put on hold. I have a tendency to take on too much and am wanting to find the time to find someone special I can enjoy my days with. It has been difficult for me to find the balance, which is why I am still single. The online dating scene is one I am willing to try, as I was unsuccessful last summer and have been too busy this summer - so hoping for better luck in the fall. I find online dating artificial as I believe it is best to get to know someone in person but it has benefits to make the first connection beyond the bar scene. Keep that in mind and don't shy away if I want to meet you right away. Seriously, I can not believe how life has brought me to where I am. I have come full circle, and sometimes still feel lost. My adventures have brought me to where I am today and I could not be happier with my journey. I am outgoing but am always seeking more out of life. Honestly - be confident, assertive and your self - I am easy going and have tendencies to be too outspoken, but am looking for a connection with the ability to evolve. Willing and wanting to date, I am a social being by nature who loves to travel.
