If you want to know ask...I am a single mom with two boys...they are the center of my world and will always come first...I work two jobs and go to school...no that does not mean I'm always too busy....but it does mean I'm selective about where I allow my time to be spent... I will say that I am me and I like who I am....I don't mind compromise but there are things that I believe in that I'm not willing to compromise on... I know this seems like a lot to type but I would rather save time...why waste what you can't get back!!!!! I love having fun with friends and family...but 90% of my time is spent on my kids. I would like to just have coffee..sit down and talk and really see personality come out in someone...conversation is the life line in which we all base our assumptions on...how do you know if you would really like someone if you don't talk??

There isn't much to say about me right now, but I'm hoping to change that eventually.I'm not the girl who does the party scene every weekend or the girl who's ultra hip and fashion trendy. I'm a bit of a geek at heart and proud of it - so I typically spend most of my free time partaking in geek-centric hobbies. Not sure what that entails? Drop me a line, I'll tell you.I've got a ridiculously broad taste in music and listen to everything under the sun - trading music recommendations with friends is actually a silly and yet favorite passtime of mine! There's something really cool about discovering new artists through friends, I think. Anyway, I also enjoy camping and hiking, and I like fishing but I'm not all that great at it! Not really sure what I want to do with my life, but I've had this compulsion to write ever since I was old enough to hold a pencil, so I think maybe something in that line of interest is what I'll wind up pursuing.I don't smoke, I'm against drugs, but I do like social drinking - not so keen on the super sweet drinks, but I'm not really a fan of beer, either. It's hard for me to open up, but when I'm with someone I can trust not to be judgmental, someone who is honest and kind and just wants to have a good time, then that's when I'm happiest and at my best. Around someone like that? I just want to make sure they're also enjoying themselves and that, at the end of the day, there are no regrets. :) I want a down-to-earth first date - I can't get more specific than that. Whatever it entails really depends on the person I meet and what they're comfortable with. Some people prefer coffee shops, while other people prefer nights in at their own home with a movie, you know? I'm happy to do either, or do something else entirely. I don't want a first date that's set in stone because...that's just not how life is. The unexpected happens. We could go to a concert, go to dinner, hit up a museum, or sit in the park on a nice day and complain about seagulls to each other, I don't care. Down-to-earth doesn't mean it has to be cookie-cutter, so let's have fun, yeah?
