I am a down to earth girl that prefers old fashioned values over materialistic views. I garden, love to read, spend time with my family, like to hike and go walking, watch movies, go to the ocean, like to cuddle, like crafts (scrapbooking, sewing, etc), and have a good sense of humor. I have my own home, my own car, have a full time professional job, and I am a full time mom. I can do most of my own home repairs and what I don't know, I will learn! I'm an overly protective mom, there are too many creeps in this world, but my child is well behaved and has manners (which can be rare!) The first thing that comes to my mind (although a stretch I know), is a scavanger hunt. How neat would that be to work together while competing against others to find odd things all over town. I think that would spark some interesting conversations. If the date goes well then move on to maybe a poker night or bowling. If it's not going well then graciously bow out.
