Oh geez, so new at this. I came from a background of working very hard - started working at a horse stable at age 11, pitching manure to earn my first horse (at 50 cents an hour). Worked my way up to training, showing, etc horses. Love horses. Unfortunately, no longer involved but wish I were. I work in Mutual Funds now at a bank. Would love to meet someone who is casual, loving, likes the outdoors or a quiet night at home, and travel. I like anything from having a couple beers with friends around a camp fire, to enjoying a great meal on the beach in the Caribbean. I enjoy drawing (art, horses mainly of course), music - still trying to learn guitar - lol. Love obscure books, great poetry. Love to laugh, am an excellent cook. Family comes first (love my nieces & nephews to pieces). I have been moved deeply by volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, the Veterans Home, and other organizations. Gentlemen preferred. :-) Update (Feb. '***I have had a great amount of wonderful guys favorite me or want to meet me on this site. Would love to meet up, but need to take a time out for a couple months. Just found out I have cancer & need to go through treatment for a couple months. I am in a positive frame of mind & know I can kick the big C in the teeth. So fellas, give me some time off & try again in a couple months. It's really hard to describe myself and what I'm looking for. I think most of us want the same thing, ie: honesty, companionship, integrity, etc. So, if you are about those than let's chat. I am a playful, sassy, hardworking female and would like to find the same. I am a strong female (that does NOT translate into hard headed) and would like to find a man that has a strong personality (this translates into being the man).I love animals, kids, and old people. I think that they should always be cared for - everyone else is on their own. :-) I have one dog and one bird. My bird is 21 years old....I didn't know he would live so long. My dog is a rescue and is very sweet.I like DIY home projects and I'm fairly successful at completing them. I love to laugh and have a good time, a smile is usually on my face. My life is good but missing a companion to make it even better. I enjoy doing most things outside, I love the beach and water. I enjoy life and have little to no drama in my daily life.
