Loving life and looking to share it with a well read, active Southern Gentleman.My dogs are family and family is very important to me. I do not have children of my own, but am a fabulous Aunt!I love to laugh and try to keep a sense of humor about life.I am very independent, but would love a shoulder to lean on every now and then.I own my own home and power tools.I know how to sew.I work a lot right now, but have no problem taking off to spend time with someone special.I prefer a walk on the beach to just about anything.I am a liberal thinker and conservative voter.I love flowers. My favorites are daffodils,gardenias and hydrangeas.I love to give and receive full body hugs! I love classic rock and roll, but listen to almost any type of music... I sing quite loudly while alone in the car and sound just fabulous! LOLMovies and books are both a big part of my life. Again, I am all over the place with my tastes here. I am currently reading beach trash, the Bible, The Tenth Insight, and catching up on my Kellerman, Cooking is a particular passion and I have been often complimented on my skills... everything from Down Home Southern, to Greek, Cajun, anything with Seafood, and BBQ that will make your mouth water for more... I could go on forever about food, but you might get the wrong idea...I also make the best healthy salads you have ever eaten and grow my own herbs.I believe we must have friendship to have a successful relationship. Mutual respect and a genuine desire to make it work are necessary in the long run. Yes, I want my pulse to quicken a bit when you are near, but to catch me you must hold my mind and enrich my soul as well.I am old enough to know who I am and that I can certainly live the rest of my life on my own; however, it is nice to have someone to share life with. I love to pamper those I love with small gifts, special meals, time and attention and am quick to show my appreciation when receiving the same.I look forward to hearing from you. Anyhoo just think it would be fun to walk around the state fair , drink a few cold ones and stand in a line to spin a wheel to win a free T shirt that you would never wear out in public . lol Oh music like pretty much all music . sometimes I hear a country song thats a little too sappy and ridiculous but I don't think like a 20 year old either. state fair as long as it last . I like to fish. I love all festivals and music. A outside fire when it gets chilly and roast hot dogs. I like gaming some. I like the horse races. I like the stock yards. a crawfish festival would be fun. I am not into bars to much. Now and then is enough for me unless its an afternoon evening****ail . but to just go in a dark crowded bar for endless hours is not really for me . It bores me unless there is an awesome band . Like ah say the Eagles . lol
