I love to have fun. I enjoy most music and dancing, line, ballroom or rock. Really like fishing and can bait my own hook. I occasionally go sunning on the beach or my back yard and sometimes tan at the gym. I know a good deal about computers. I have a real passion for traveling but have not done near enough, yet. I enjoy going to the dog or horse track and the casinos to play the slot machines and poker. I so like traveling anywhere to do just about anything. .I so enjoy camping, both by tent, which I have and RV when available. I savor a nice cool morning waking up to the birds in the woods with a strong cup of coffee and making breakfast on the open camp fire.I watch some TV, News, movies (suspense drama, comedy and action and maybe even a cartoon), American Idol, Big Brother, and Big Bang Theory. I would have to say I am adventurous either flying or driving by car or motorcycle.I know the importance of exercising and attending Zomba or Power Pump classes. . I occasionally take my puppy for a bike ride or for walks. Wash my own car and cut my own grass. I really take pleasure in eating out and trying new foods. I have been told I am a really great cook. I can cook Cajun foods and a whole bunch of Southern.D. as a timekeeper. Just until the turnaround is over then back down south. I am a Certified Animal Control Officer and I love to save the animals.I have 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren ages 6 to 12. I spend some of my free time working and helping others. I go into the jails and talk to the woman and speak at many venues about changing your life and the importance of having God in your life. I attend a Catholic church on a regular basis and would love to find a man that would like to go with me.I am looking for someone that does not work too much and likes to enjoy life. Someone that understands that family is important and that takes responsibility for their family and finances. I am over the games and want a mature man with a big heart. A want a man by my side that is kind and gentle to me but will protect me if ever need to be. We are all a mix of nurture and nature. In my case the nurture included a lot of arts, culture and liberal politics. Nature gave me my pale skin, red hair, blue/grey eyes and a perfect 0.7 hip to waist ratio. Before I knew the curves were an asset I found I had a pretty good brain that needs a lot of stimulation. I've heard "treasure" and even "odd duck", meant in the nicest way, to describe the fact I don't exactly follow the herd. So unique brew is probably an apt description. It's no big surprise I work in a creative position. And it follows that I frequent galleries and lectures probably more than most. I listen to NPR, watch Charlie Rose and have been buying my food from farmers markets since I was a kid. Those that don't give their word lightly. People who are passionate, be it for their work, their hobby or life in general. Friends describe me as an ever-curious good conversationalist who can make people feel comfortable. I have a knack for finding those interesting little places and things that aren't on the public radar. So there's the touch of the explorer. Very often you'll find some leaf, seed pod or shell in my pockets.On a day-to-day level I possess a good amount of stick-to-it-ive-ness that keeps me grounded. I don't match the flighty artist stereotype at all. After eighteen years of marriage and over twenty years in my vocation, commitment and tenacity come naturally.But being grounded doesn't mean I've spent a lot of time standing still. I have adventured to some out of the way places. Travel is a mind-expanding experience.What might be a matching brew? Not sure...I am like my worst client in that regard, I keep thinking I will know it when I see it. I do think taking any action ripples out toward a final positive outcome. Even if it seems like a numbers game or random chance, to my mind even the small step of coffee, increases both our odds of finding that someone we are seeking.
