I'm kind of 'the girl next door'...a feminine, classy yet outdoorsy woman. I enjoy live music venues, art exhibits, kayaking, trailer camping and fishing...when I get the chance...if I only had a handsome man to rig my fishing pole! Like to dance & don't get to do that enough. I'm not saying I'm a good dancer, but I do it with enthusiasm. Raised Catholic, I now attend a large non-denominational church for prayer & fellowship. I've taken some fantastic classes there, too. My faith sustains me in difficult times & helps me live daily with a full & grateful heart. I'm a working professional, planning to retire in a few years and dreaming of new ventures. Though it might sound as if I'm on the go all the time, I actually love my time at home, cooking, home & garden projects. But occasionally meet friends for a drink after work. Driving through the Hill Country to visit TX wineries/small towns, Sunday Songs at Luckenbach is a good time. Scuba diving is one of the best thing I've ever done. Am thinking of taking that up again. I'd also like to get good at swing dancing. I am being upfront about it because there are a lot of shallow men out there who can not deal with this....including my ex... and I don't want to waste my time!! I am almost 7 years post diagnosis. 7 years on Halloween. Talk about a trick!! lol I am a survivor and I can take all the BS that most have to dole out.
