About Me

I listed all this in my interests but here it is again forgive my repeating. I enjoy working on my home redecorating or repair. I reclaim repair and re purpose old things like furniture and such. I enjoy being outside , walks in a park ,working in the yard. I love the water, in it ,on it or by it is the best place to be!. I am always ready for a road trip. I love going to new places, I enjoy historical places, state parks, Rt 66 ! I like flea markets and museums. And camping. I have a pop up camper sorry don't sleep on the ground any more! I have raised my family of 5 children and am raising my grandson , he turned 16 in Dec. He is a wonderful young man. So I am the one who has always taken care of everyone. I am very responsible , self motivated, and very active.But I can enjoy a night snuggling on the couch watching a good movie!Oh and drive in movies are a favorite thing to do in the summer. I am a jeans and sweater kinda gal. But enjoy getting all dressed up when the occasion calls for it.Spending time with friends is important to me . I am blessed to have some very close dear friends I consider family. I have always worked retail and enjoy working with people. Believe it or not the hectic holiday season is my favorite time! To be able to put a smile on the face of someone who's having a bad day is a good feeling. I am almost always smiling. Life truly is to short not to be enjoyed. I have been a widow for over seven years and I miss having someone to share life with.I am an affectionate person.We always hug hello and goodbye! I treat people as I want to be treated. I am trusting to a fault. And wont tell a lie to save me,or you for that matter. I am old fashion in some ways As the song says" I don't hook up" . I don't judge those who do but it's just not for me. I find confidence and manners very attractive. My glass is full of possibilities!Update I have just quit Smoking! I put occasionally just in case :) Depending on the weather, because if its nice outside a walk threw a park or by the water , stopping for coffee,soda or a drink would be nice. Or a museum or flea market, all the things there would give us plenty of conversation starter. Where ever, it needs to be some place we could talk, to get to know each other.

    Okay here we go.... I know you're out there! Please don't be a smoker, geographically undesirable, DULL, or old enough to date my mother. Do be fit, funny, financially secure, and good looking is always a bonus. I consider myself attractive, not a super model, but I think I clean up pretty well, and in decent shape. The current love of my life is my dog, if you can't stand the competition don't bother replying. A really good day is heading off with him for a hike and coming home to sit on my deck relaxing as the sun sets with a great glass of wine. I'm optimistic, enthusiastic, independant (sometimes to a fault) and loyal. And did I mention really pretty normal in the whole scheme of things.
