I like to say that I try to live life to the fullest & best suited with an adventurous man aged ***as I am 57. After enjoying adventure in Thailand last year, I was ready to concentrate again on visiting world class cities via home exchange in Europe or elsewhere. So for future adventures, I have not yet been to NW Europe, St. Tenerife off of Spain with an incredible parrot refuge is an island I will go to again. My current favourite activities include what's below but the more I do them myself or rely on girlfriends to go with the more I think of eliminating some. Please let me know what you are passionate about that is on my list.skiing Whistler on a powder day, sojourning or travel to other world class cities via home exchange, open to trying contra dance this year at St. James, cooking and eating healthy whole food meals, reading non-;; Follies, snorkeling the G.B.R and Koh Tao.-retired / retired person, I manage my own investments both real estate and financial, so I can take my job with me if a ***month (or longer) home exchange comes available. I also am working on making my life easier and more fun so only doing the above very part time ***months per year is my goal. Exchanging lives worldwide has been very rewarding over the years. But I am open to alternate guided and/or adventure travel suggestions from a new fun travel partner. I have gotten a lot of travel desires out of my system since ***so I am very relaxed about the need to travel.When it is time to chill out, I would rather listen to music in front of a fire or view rather than watch TV unless there is an excellent foreign streaming video. I can also enjoy reading a good book or my kindle in front of a fire or view. And I do have a nice chessboard that has not been used in a long time.I value most loyalty, honesty, integrity, family and friendships. Giving back is important to me.I have had 2 very long term relationships. One for 17 years with the father of my son who now has his own 2 children, my grandchildren. The second relationship with my adventure partner lasted 22 years and only personal circumstances parted us not our compatible desire to be true to our adventurous selves. My father played the harmonica, violin, and the mandolin at home when I was growing up so I gained an appreciation for many kinds of live music with lots of arrangements. I particularly love Improv jazz and blues, classical, rock and roll, Latin, & Zydeco. My parents also had me dancing at the Queen E theater so dancing brings out the kid in me. I love it too. What am I looking for? ALERT I am not interested in "Friends with benefits" The goal is to find someone who can align with me so we can build a great adventurous lifestyle together but we still have separate homes. Those men who have to keep leaving town just before they get emotionally involved, need not apply. I am looking for a respectful and meaningful relationship.So I need you to be partner-oriented because I am looking for an available partner to plan & But I now have some available girlfriends with common interests too. Then I also ask: Are you an adventurous, romantic man who is looking for a seasoned world travel partner to also take a few trips yearly with now that your kids have grown up and started their own lives? Are you a fit, semi -retired or retired nature lover? Are you interested in knowing about and helping each other fulfill each other’s desires? Can you discuss important current events and world topics with respect for your partner? Would you enjoy cooking healthy foods with me and sometime entertain a small group with me? Is music an essential part of your life? If so, I would like us to take our time to really get to know each other. I am interested first in developing new life-long supportive friendships with like-minded people my age. And if a fire starts for us during this time, all I can say is when it rains, let's take a contra dance lesson if we are staying in town. Hi: Thank you for your interest in meeting. I love being in nature but I must be near the city for all it offers as well. ALERT I tried to change the age that shows on the profile last fall and assumed I succeeded but did not check. While I am grateful for looking very young for my age, the age should read 57.

I'm financially secure, and I'm looking for a man who is at a similar place in his life. I am a dual citizen and can live and work both sides of the border if I chose. I'd like to meet someone who has a positive attitude, and an active lifestyle. Someone who values volunteerism, and cares about the state of the world. If social drinking is a big part of your life, we won't be a good match.     Not looking to be taken care of but would welcome being cared for and eventually loved. Yes, I said the "L" word..if that's scary for you...please stop reading now. Wanting to meet someone to do things with, I love my life and am tired of living it alone. My girlfriends are all in relationships and I'm always the proverbial "fifth wheel"...so I opt out of functions and work *** I might add. You enjoy travel to warm tropical places when it's cold in BC, exploring our beautiful province in the spring and summer months, fishing, going for long walks/hikes (with the dogs), dining in or out, reading, playing board/card games, music (extra points if you favor R&B of the 60's, 70's, 80's), the occasional movie, preferably at home, curled up on the couch with a beverage and appies readily available. You relish the thought of sleeping until 9:00 a.m. on a Sunday morning...lol. I am complicated in an uncomplicated way and I live a simple life. I believe in karma and paying it forward.
