About Me

Hello GentlemenHard to do this without tooting your own horn and I'm not that kind of person. I prefer modesty, but let's give it a go....I'm an outgoing individual who loves to talk and has no trouble socializing. I also like taking it easy and relaxing, enjoying the comforting nature of just being together in a quiet place. I'm very much a doer, in that I believe you shouldn't talk about it, just do it. I am unable to relax if something needs doing and I don't like procrastinating. I believe in giving and enjoy doing things for others and surprising them with the unexpected. I believe giving is most important in a loving relationship, as both partners need to give as much as they can to the other. Doing things for the other person shows consideration, selflessness, and love. I'm a firm believer in teamwork. I can tackle life's challenges, but would prefer doing that together with a co-captain, afterall, we make a stronger team than each alone. Doing things together is fun....anything at all, but I also believe we need some time to ourselves. I'm not attached to anyone at the hip, and time apart makes us appreciate our time together even more. We need to learn about each other, but we can't forget who we are as individuals. We should bring that individuality into the relationship, and I look forward to learning all about you and that's an adventure we'll do together. I am very expressive with my words and actions, showing my affection in public without concern for who may be watching. I certainly don't mean going overboard, but when I am with someone I love, a long kiss is not taboo and very much welcome. Loving touches and feels are a must all the time ! This is really a method of communication and a pillar in a strong relationship. I love holding hands and I am a hopeless romantic.I love to laugh, so a good sense of humour is definitely a requirement. I have no problem laughing at myself, I'm comfortable enough in my own skin. I'm young at heart and believe that age is just a state of mind. I hope to meet someone that sparks my intellect and my heart. There must be mutual respect and mutual interests. Although they say opposites attract, I have to disagree when it comes to relationships...common goals, common interests, and common values are very necessary for a successful relationship.     I was on this site once before, however, I never met up with anyone and probably gave up far too quickly. I am semi- I go out with friends, however, I really miss the interaction with someone of the opposite sex. I love to laugh...it's so important to me. At my new job the men make me laugh every day which is terrific!!! I am, also, a great listener and communicator and being a Libran I always stick up for the underdog. I dislike unfairness. I guess one can consider this my strength.Love to read... Scary /thriller movies...sitting on the edge of my seat peaking through my fingers...love it!! Music would be soft rock / easy listening. Food definitely Italian or Chinese and I do love a good steak supper, on occasion, (even though I mostly eat chicken and fish). I'm pretty easy to please...definitely not high maintenance.You must be fairly tall as I am 5'8". You should, also, be able to read and write the English language...I've placed this here because there seems to be a lot of people who are unable to do this. If this sounds shallow, I am sorry, however, this is what I am use to. I would like somebody who is my equal in all aspects...I don't think that is too much to ask for...or is it? You should, also, love animals especially dogs and horses. One last thing...a good communicator and listener is a must!!! Hopefully I haven't scared you off. I would like to meet someone in a public space (can't be too careful) and hopefully, it would be somewhere that is fairly quiet so that we would be able to talk. This way we would both find out if there is an chemistry between us or if it's a complete loss.
