I put in long 12 hour "days" (I work night shift) my job can be very emotional at times, I work on a post surgical cancer floor, we are taught to not get emotionally involved, but that isnt always the case in reality, when you love your job.I love music.. and my music tastes are so wide and varied..although I'm not a huge fan of rap...I love animals, my current lil guy is my adopted Shih tzu / Affen Pincher mix ... it was love at first sight.I am looking for my forever and a day.. Where to start, talking about myself is not the easiest thing to do. I am an honest, considerate,caring,warm hearted person. I treat people with respect and understanding. I don't lie and I don't cheat. I expect to be treated the same. I am looking for a man that is honest and loving. A man that is not afraid to show the softer side of himself. I don't want to be compared to your ex-wife or girl friends ,I am not them. I tend to keep the past where it belongs, and concentrate on the here and now. Family is very important to me, getting together for holidays,birthdays or even a football game is always a good time. I still have family there. I am a single mom to 3 wonderful young men. They are the best part of me and I am very proud of them. I have a great sense of humor and feel that if you can't laugh at everyday life it tends to get a bit dark. Humor has gotten me through some pretty rough times over the years.I enjoy the simple pleasures in life. Just going for a drive up in the mountains on the weekend is something I enjoy a great deal. I like checking out the local area, going to the ghost towns and learning the history of the area.I enjoy museums, and stopping in small towns along the way to wherever the roads takes me.I am not a person that needs "things" to make me happy. I enjoy camping and riding atv's/motorcycles. Spending time in hunting camp when my boys were younger was always a great time. I love to cook and bake, for someone that likes to eat. I like to read, watch a good movie, just hang out and talk about life and share stories with someone new. I make rustic art out of old rusted metal, old broken glass, old barn wood, drift wood. Its a hobby I enjoy and it brings out my creative side. There comes a point when you have to realize that you'll never be good enough for some people. The question is, is that your problem or theirs? I am open to new experiences and enjoying whatever life hands me.You know that tingly little feeling you get when you like someone? That's common sense leaving your body... I think a good first date would be to go somewhere quiet. A place where we could sit and talk over a cup of coffee or maybe a drink and get to know each other. It is the things in common that make relationships enjoyable, but it is the differences that make them interesting.... I have reached a point in my life where I feel it is no longer necessary to try and impress anyone.
