Hi there dating world! I am a 51 year young woman and mom. I say young because my life started all over about 5 years ago and I feel that I have the opportunity to do over those awkward dating years of younger, in a much better way! I have been a full-time student for the past 5 years and I will be graduating with a Master's degree next May. Not to say that newly dating is not a scary prospect, but I am ready! I have to say that I am old school. For a first date, I might not necessarily have you pick me up at my home, but when I meet you, open the doors for me and pull out my seat for me (if we are going somewhere we will be sitting!) I am open for an adventure! You plan it, I will be there, and I promise I will enjoy it! I think sometimes doing something that is more of an adventure on a first date, opposed to sitting at a table and eating, is less awkward and a better way to get to know someone. Maybe a hike? Or, a ride on a roller-coaster??

Hello there, thank you for reading my profile. I am a native Tucsonan and have taught for 31 years. I love teaching children, it is always different and keeps me active and busy!! When I turned 50 I gave myself the gift of quitting smoking. I'm very independant, more likely to tackle a difficult job myself, rather than ask for help. I would accept (and appreciate!!!) help if offered but it is difficult for me to ask. I enjoy many things outside of my work which include travling, camping, anything outdoors,swimming, museums, dining out, theatre...
