This part is always the hardest. I'm a single mom of two sons 18 and 16 who are my life! My oldest son is a freshman in college who lives away at school, and my youngest is a junior in high school. I share custody of my boys with my ex, so I have my boys (only my baby now) half of the time. I'm at the stage in my life where I have plenty of free time to call my own. I'm looking to share that free time with a man of substance and quality who possesses similar beliefs and values. I spend my free time with family and friends or just doing my own thing and value and cherish this time greatly. There is no substitute for family! I'm looking for someone that has a true sense of work ethic and knows how to make an honest living. Contrary to the belief of many, I'm not here to support anyone financially except my children. I'm not your mother. We've all been through rough times and that's what makes us who we are today, but, honestly, if you don't have your act together at this stage of the game please don't bother. I also desire a man that I can have an intellectual conversation with and is able to discuss anything from soup to nuts. Having a sense of humor is an absolute must! I love to laugh and need a man that does too. It would be a huge bonus if my partner was a hockey fan. I love hockey and both of my boys play. I love nothing more than watching them on the ice. Yes, I do get a bit crazy, especially when my boys are on the ice. I'm extremely passionate about it. I happen to be passionate about many things. I'm an extremist about most things in life. I'm smart, funny, stable, responsible, reliable, loyal, healthy, slightly adventurous, well rounded and the old stand by down to earth :-) I became much happier once I realized being athletic doesn't mean having to hit a ball. I don't eat fast food, but I can’t go more than few days without ice cream. I own and can operate a drill and I've been known to bake a cake. I'm always doing something around the house. I'm not a "hot spots" kind of person...For drinks I prefer a place where you can actually talk. For vacation my first choice is always someplace where I can be active, hike, bike, kayak or of course lie on a beach. I workout 4xs a week so I can eat. I love the movies (no chick flicks please!!-loud...It would be nice to meet someone with similar interests (although it would be great if he would motivate me to do/learn different things), with the ability to make me laugh so hard I cry, who is intelligent, self-assured, strong, open minded, supportive, funny, attractive and athletic/active (lazy people make me crazy…) being handy with a hammer wouldn’t hurt!PS the cat is new. I'm silly but sincere, adventurous but responsible, hardworking but playful, strong but sweet, honest, loyal and forever hopeful. I'm looking for a man that I can connect and enjoy being with. Great chemistry is always the key. I have one son who is grown, he has graduated college and now it's my turn. I'm currently attending college to work towards my RN degree. I'm an avid animal lover, they are considered my kids and are very spoiled.
