If my demeanor (and humor) comes off as sarcastic, or even a little crude, please understand that I am parenting a house full of boys. You don't know about my past, my history with men, my current life, or where I'm coming from. This in no way means that I don't think you are a good man or some other woman isn't lucky to have you in HER life. For example, if I read your profile and you're clearly very driven, focused, disciplined and intense... well, I spent many years as a working single mom, I am flexible, laid back, I roll with whatever comes my way.... Or, if you're a sports fanatic, I respect that, but every time I have watched a game - baseball, football, basketball, etc. - within minutes I find my mind wandering and I'm staring at the wall daydreaming. So, I'd (pretend to) watch a game with you on occasion, or go to one once in a while, but I am NOT gonna magically become someone who enjoys it! First off, let me just say I am not trying to have sex with you. I know there are women on this site who are just trying to take advantage of a guy and use him for sex, but I am not one of them! That's not what I'm looking for. I will take you out for a drink, cup of coffee, or dinner first.... get to know you a little bit.... you know what I mean...Ok, seriously, I can get along with and have an enjoyable time with just about anyone. If you wanna have dinner and chat, as though we're coworkers having lunch together, let me know, that's a good place to start.
