About Me

I love all kinds of music, especially live (though I hardly get out to see a show anymore!)... it is absolutely one of my favorite things in life! I like to spend my free time doing outdoor activities... I'm out daily with my pooch and have always preferred being outdoors "doing" sports as opposed to working out inside a gym or watching sports on television.). I'm a life long skier, hiker, bicycler, and have tried snowboarding on and off for years but to my dismay it's not coming very easily. I've been meaning to get some rollerblades since moving downtown and have been hoping to get away for a surfing holiday for years. Scuba diving has been on my bucket list since I was 20 yrs.As I get older my life gets simpler and I like it that way - just taking life as it comes, one day at a time ...enjoying the journey. I love yoga and prefer doing it at home to a class, though I will still take a class from time to time. I discovered yoga at 16 years old and it's always been more of a spiritual part of my life rather than exercise. I enjoy a certain amount of quiet time every morning to read or write or mediate or create - love to cook & experiment with healthy food. I'm in love my work and I still love being a mom. I relish in these days I get to spend with my boys who are both in post secondary and still live with me. I know it won't be long till they are on their own so I'm soaking up the joy of their presence in my daily life as much as possible! I've been on and off this site several times over the last 7 years (since my marriage ended). Each time I try a new tactic. This time I am really just dropping my line in the pond to see if my curiosity gets tweaked by someone real. I'm sure you can appreciate that this site is time consuming and time is our most precious gift! I don't want to spend a lot of time on here. At our age we can be mature and responsible for our own feelings - so please don't take it personally if I don't reply to you, and don't keep sending me more messages. In real life if you made it obvious that I caught your eye and I wasn't interested, I could make an obvious signal back to you not to proceed with my body language. Unfortunately that body language online equates to *** *** I think there might be something there I will reply!
