Free spirited, funny, responsible lady. I have my own style (Bohemian/Hippy)and don't need to keep up with the latest trends or styles. I appreciate the simple things in life. I truly feel materialistic people are not happy people. I have been divorced for a while now and have no drama in my life. I have 3 rescue dogs that I just love so you must like dogs. I have a great sence of humor a bit sarcastic but you'll know by the sparkle in my eye. I wear my heart on my sleeve and I'm a great communicator and very compassionate. When in an argument I DO NOT yell or scream, if for some reason we can't talk about it at the time then step away for a bit. Understand I am very easy going and dont sweat the small stuff. I expect the same in return so if your a screamer or an abuser do not repond. I am self relient and do not "need" a man in my life but it would be nice to have someone to share my life with. I do at times miss being in a relationship but I'm not going to just jump right into it. This whole internet dating is a little hard for me to do, so patiences please.     How exactly does one describe themselves? ok, here goes..Without sounding overly confident I will say I am very happy with my Life and my accomplishment thus far. But yes there is a void...That other half. I'm not saying that if you contact me, I'll buy airplane tickets to the Little White Chaple in Vagas. I have had a very success career. I am a Registered Nurse and worked in the Intensive Care Unit for over twenty years, and then moved on to teaching(also in medical field). After working so many years in Critical Care,I have learned and experienced many life lessons and learned that life is too short and every day is a new tomorrow.I have raised two wonderful sons that i'm very proud of, who are now 16 and 19... and slowly (or should I say much too fast for me) reaching the age will they will soon be on their own. And yes I find it difficult to accept, but they too will be opening a new chapter in their lives. Without sounding vain, My friends tell me that I'm fun to be with,full of energy, and look younger than my stated age.( I work out 6 days a week and feel as fit as I did in my 20's) I hate to argue,look towards a compromise,and to avoid an argument I usually walk away till that cooling off period has set in. Communication in my book is a big plus in a relationship. I like to be treated with respect as I do others. I'm a bit old fashioned and like it when a man opens doors for me, helps me with my coat,and places his Jacket over a puddle so I don't get my feet wet...lol..I have a positive attitude and look at life as the glass were half full. I am continuously working to improve myself mentally, physically, and emotionally. I value good friends, family, honesty ,respect, and freedom and there is nothing better than a good laugh to take the edge off the stress filled life we live in. I am looking for a new relationship, someone who is also happy with their life and wants to make it complete by forming a trusting and passionate relationship.
