Sounds silly that I need to get this out of the way first, but here it goes...I'm not looking for a quick hookup or someone who is less than honest about their intentions. I like to do active things, disc golf, hiking, walking in the many parks in the area as well as downtown...I am not a materialistic person, I am really looking for someone who has the time to invest in a relationship. Not to say that I don't like to veg on occasion, but not what I want to spend all of my time doing. I exercise at least 4 days a week and would like to find someone who is health conscious...not a health nut, but lives a balanced life style. My kids are nearly grown.... okay one grown and in college and the other is a senior in high school, going to college next year. They are both fairly independent, which is amazing to see what men they are becoming.I spent six years in the Marine Corps and enjoyed serving my country. Honesty and faithfulness is very important. Not into games. Everyone has baggage and the carry on is fine, but please no checked bags :)I enjoy the 80's rock mostly. I do enjoy going to the movies (not on a first date)... like comedies and action. Not so much into Sci Fi and definintely not horror flicks. Hello, UPDATED ***I enjoy camping, hiking, biking, swimming, pontoon boating, fishing and almost anything on the water. I like to be the passenger on the motorcycle and I have been told I am a good passenger. I like to sit by a good bonfire and just watch it, talk and cuddle. I enjoy movies and quiet times. I am the mom of 4 young adults all in their 20's. Two are married and have steady jobs in engineering or military. The younger two are twins and one is working and going to college for dental assistant. The other is working two jobs and just moved into her first place. She does not want to spend money on college until she knows what she wants. I have two large dogs and my daughters cat in the house. I work full time in health care and have been in nursing since ***. Since the children are grown, I am getting back to my hobbies. I like to embroider, knit and I am learning to sew again. I am learning to garden, but I find I prefer the big projects with landscaping. I like to wile a day away sometimes with thrift store shopping or garage sales. Sometimes I buy for me, sometimes for someone else. I am trying to develop an eye for "what it could be" when I look at used items. How can I re-purpose them. I enjoy the symphony or Orchestra and theater. I have completed 2 plays with our community theater. It was a wonderful challenge and so much fun. Simple lunch or dinner followed by hiking, fishing, biking. Campfire in the evening.
