About Me

I run marathons, try and keep up! This is the premise of my life. Everything I do is at a fast pace, except for dating, I like to take my time and really get to know the person. It's not how fast you do things; it's how much living you do while you are doing the things you love. I am an independent woman but would love to share my life and the future with the right person. I have a passion for sports and I find the perfect weekend in the fall, tailgating at a football game and cheering for my favorite team or jumping on a plane and exploring the world. I enjoy a good debate about politics, religion and money, but I am not confrontational. Just searching for someone to challenge me and make me want to be a smarter and more intellectual person. I have an appreciation for the arts and enjoy the theater. I am a performer in every sense of the word and my life is my stage. I like to describe my perfect match as someone that I would pick to be my best friend. He needs to be like an onion -once you peel away the outer layer (the facade) there are many layers underneath. The deeper you go to the core the better he gets. Family must be a priority, if not your own, the appreciation of anothers'. To be a good person to me means being able to do the right thing in an adverse situation. The most important thing in life is to find contentment with oneself. Knowing that where you are is where you are meant to be but never settling for what you have. Always striving to be more in life. NOT HAVE MORE! My parents have been married for 53 years and I have watched my father love, respect and appreciate my mother. I want a man who can do the same for me. Whoever the man is that steals my heart forever, will love me more than he loves himself. Total unconditional love! I'm pretty open to trying new things however, I've never been on a coffee date that wasn't awkward. The key to a first date is keeping it casual and simple in an environment where two people can be themselves.

    Hmmm well lets see when I'm not working at my jobs (yes i said jobs) I truly enjoy, I love to spend time with my family and friends. Going to concerts or hearing live music is one of my favorite activities. I also enjoy going to movies or staying in to watch one at home. I like seeing plays at the MTC center or shows brought into the MTS Center. The gym is also one of my favorite stress relievers. I'm no longer a fan of bars but do enjoy going to a lounge or spending time on one of our many fabulous patios in the summer. I love to cook and have people over, nothing better than an evening with great friends and good laughs. A good glass of wine can erase any stress of the day. I enjoy traveling when I have a chance to get away and refuel. I do travel a fair bit with my job but Northern Manitoba isn't exactly the tropically holiday I enjoy. I like to support our local home teams. Overall I love having a good time and enjoy laughing, so if your the type of man that also enjoys life let's chat.
