I have a wonderful 19 year old son that I've raised alone for 17 years (by choice) and have spent that time developing an awesome relationship with him. I wanted to give him a life free of a revolving door of men and raise him in a secure and stable environment. I have dated over the years, but have always put my son first. I'm already happy but someday I hope to find someone equal - not a savior or someone to complete me, more like a friend, confidant and partner who makes everything seem sweeter. So if I must travel through life alone and never meet Mr. Right, I'm OK with that.When it comes to what one is looking for I think people need to keep an open mind and not make a laundry list of what an "ideal" mate is. Come on, when you start to make ridiculous demands and unreasonable expectations, you're probably setting yourself up for disappointment and failure. We are not applicants seeking an audition... Or atleast I'm not... I'm willing to wait for the right man.I prefer considering dealbreakers...you know... if exhibited, behaviors you will not allow yourself to tolerate. Some of mine are: financial irresponsibility, illegal drug use, inability to control alcohol intake, previous history of unlwaful misconduct and or involuntary incarceration, abuse of any sort, lack of a moral compass, cruelness and disrepsect of others, and oh yea, infidelity. If you have NOTHING positive to say about the previous women you have chosen and it was ALL her fault... you should know I'm pretty smart and probably not the one for you. Only on occasion is it soley one sided and no one is perfect. Occasion is the exception, not the rule....:)I enjoy many things and prefer to be active. You can usually find me spending time outside when its not raining. Day trips to the city are great and occasional weekend trips to the shore are even better. And of course long rides on the motorcycle are the best. (I could teach you to ride, but I'd rather you already know - either way it isn't a big deal.) I dont mind if you have children, I could be a good friend to the children of the right person.I'm hoping to find someone who balances me, brings light to my life and inspires me. I don't and won't chase a man.I try to live for fun and excitment... so say hi and let's get this show on the road. :) The only thing I'm pretty serious about is my career. My home is pretty important also as is my partner, being a responsible person and a good citizen.I'm already happy so I enjoy doing just about anything. I was born and raised in WV and moved to SC after high school. I am a strong, independent woman that enjoys traveling, great music and intelligent conversation.
