Life is short, make the best of it! I am the type of person who sees the glass as half full rather than half empty....and yes perhaps it's sometimes filled with red wine, not water...lol I love staying active and keeping fit. It helps me make the best of my everyday life. My 2 boys are everything to me and certainly keep me busy. They are always there to teach me a new life lesson...lol ! I love planning my next getaway outside the country. I enjoy entertaining at home and love cooking for my guests....along with a great bottle of red of course!...."what you eat is what you are".....need i say more ?)....that's not to say i don't enjoy a burger here and there but i must confess, i usually prefer eating healthy...less calories to tackle during my workouts...hahahaSalsa Dancing....Bachata, and other latin dancing, anything goes. I love a man who can lead !!Weekend Getaway...more than willing to explore the country side, wineries or simply go for a run...i'll bring my runners, not my Prada shoes!BTW, i am not looking to offer any "training advice"....this is really an honest attempt at finding someone who shares a similar lifestyle, not potential clients. Ahhh, the first date !!!!....well, as much as a coffee (or tea) sounds like the most common choice for its simplicity, i'm not quite sure it suits my taste (only one coffee a day for this babe and it's a french latte which i make in the morning).Maybe grab a drink somewhere cozy and fun to start with....and take it from there ?I had previously mentioned sharing a bottle of wine over a nice dinner but some took it as an intention to getting a nice expensive dinner at someone else's expense...oh well, we can't always choose how others will read our written words.

What to write, what to write?!? Maybe my headline should read perfectly imperfect for a truly genuine nice man. Is that an extinct creature? Do I have a better chance of finding a dodo or a saber tooth tiger than a TGNM? If you want a woman with more baggage than Samsonite, then I'm not her. All of us on this site above, say, 40, have some of it. Some more than others, but we all have our scars and flaws. It would be awesome to meet a TGNM to hang with, go places together, laugh, be silly with and all the good things that come with meeting someone you are compatible and have great chemistry with. I consider myself mostly content, am very close to my family, have friends who have my back, enjoy how I make my living. I am grateful for what I have.) into his life. A man that I can connect with on an intellectual, physical and emotional level. I am definitely not looking for a guy who is in the middle of an online dating buffet. Simply put, I would like to get to know a good man. Getting to know doesn't mean rushing into anything, I am comfortable enough with myself that I enjoy my independence. Not looking to go from meeting you to meeting your kids, friend or parents in no time flat, take it as it comes. Or to borrow a phrase from my 5 year old nephew, easy peasy lemon squeezy :-). Very casual, can be a cup of coffee, lunch, etc.;-)

I am searching for someone who is living their best life! Not afraid to take chances and learn something new. Confident with who they are; with no regrets or baggage from their journey thus far...Someone who enjoys day adventures but is not opposed to a relaxing day, cuddling on the couch and watching an entire season of The Walking Dead:) A glass or two of wine and a board game...Watching and discussing a documentary or the latest quirky, foreign flick that my daughter insisted I watch...Healthy eating and exercise are a must...(but the occasional treat is ok!) Happy mind, body, heart and spirit! Ability to be silly and not afraid to be true to yourself...Open to travelling, even if that means nothing more than a weekend trip to 'my' Island or a hiking excursion in Cape Breton...Must love dogs as I have a mini poodle who thinks she is a large breed and loves hiking and water...Washer toss, a bonfire, a cold drink on the deck while discussing something we are passionate about...It's all good! Affectionate, loving and kind...Someone who says "That's her..." to friends/family and who makes me think "Yah! I'm with him..."We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours we fall in mutual weirdness and call it love. ~Dr. SeussWishing peace, love and happiness to all...ciao...
