I like 2 stay active & try new things. My current hobby is rowing. I love it!!! I have 1 daughter that is a teenager. I figure that since she is getting older & has more of a social life thn I do, that it's time I get out there & have fun!Some other things about me.... I do a lot of volunteering for different groups. I am very active in my church. I am part of the parish council, the fundraising council and the alumni event council. I have done random things for Salvation Army such as during the Christmas season I go to the warehouse and help box up Christmas gifts for different events going on in the community. I usually don't attend a Thanksgiving dinner with my own family. I help a church that feeds the homeless. I think helping and volunteering my time is a great way of giving back. I haven't been on a first date in a while. I usually just hang out with friends to have fun. A great date idea would be to do something or go somewhere neither one of us have ever been. A place to get a drink, a different hiking trail neither of us has seen, a new place to eat. =)

I did not edit what he had to say about me, and I think it's pretty accurate. I like going to concerts, live theatre (kinda part of my job so it's good I like it), sporting events, museums, movies and so on. I like road trips and exploring. I like trying new recipes -- I've been trying a lot of paleo ones recently and ones with natural ingredients. I fail often but it's fun trying. I read books (actual ones) quite a bit. And I'm trying to get to the gym at least four times a week and am thinking of trying he "couch to 5k" program. I've never been a runner, but it's something different to incorporate into my workout. I love to laugh and even better if I can make others do it. And I love seeing my baby niece when I can. She's seriously stinkin' cute.There is a lot more to me, but I'll leave some stuff for you to find out.
