I own my own graphic design business (which I am ashamed to say is struggling at the moment), but the beauty of it, is I can set my own hours and take my work with me anywhere my desktop can go anyway.Also...If you are too lazy to look up my location on google maps or map quest, then please do not expect me to do it for you! So far, every response I have got thus far has asked me where my location is. Please... The constant explaining is taking up valuable time that I could be using to further my business. Thank you! I write reports and talk to people for my job and I can not think of anything to say without sounding like I am applying for a job, but here goes..I have a challenging job but it does not define me. I love what I do for a living but need someone who is not trying to out do me and can focus on me and not my job. When you look at me you would never guess what I do for a living. I love spending time out doors and being around my close friends. I have two dogs that mean the world to me and are often a part of my adventures. Hi!I'm a single mom of a teenage daughter. Anyone who has a teenager knows that means I'm a taxi driver, chef, bank and therapist all rolled into one! I also help other teenagers by means of a very active position within the Royal Canadian Air Cadets. Fitness and healthy eating are important to me. I like to spin, do yoga and complete functional training. I also enjoy riding my bike and walking to the lake. The water is my happy place. Swimming, boating and walking along the beach speak to my inner water nymph. I won't claim to be a great cook but I do know my way around the kitchen. Another one of my favourite places is sitting at the table with family or friends catching up over a meal with a bottle of wine.I really enjoy all types of music. I can even listen to my daughter's current favourite band who we probably just saw in concert. My iPhone is currently playing country songs but I also favour the current top 40 and 80’s tunes. I love songs with a good beat that we can dance to! I usually spend the little amount of down time that I have watching movies or with my nose buried in a book. I have a new love for travelling after an amazing trip to the UK that I took with my mom. I also enjoy spending time in the Kawarthas with my family. Sunday afternoons are the perfect opportunity to go cruising down the parkway.I am looking for someone who understands what being a parent is all about but also wants to have some adult time.
