About Me

I'm a fun-loving single mother of two who likes to dress up for a night of dinner and theater but I also love to camp, hunt, and fish. I am fun-loving and easy going but independent and hard-working. I don't need a man to support me, but would like one to spend time with. I like my girl nights every now and then and respect a man's need for a guys night. I have a big family and we are all very close. We aren't Italian, but we love to get together and eat and have fun. Holidays are always spend surrounded by family and friends. I spend a lot of time on my porch or deck, in the mornings for coffee and on the weekends for a couple of beers. I like to read, play outside with my kids, go horseback riding, and watch paranormal shows. I like to camp around a fire away from the city lights where you can actually see the stars. I like to fish but don't like to actually touch the fish and two weeks in November I'll be away shooting Bambi.I believe that chivalry is not dead and like when a man opens doors for me. There is nothing hotter than when a man says ma'am, darlin', and ya'll. I like to be treated like a lady, but that doesn't mean I won't out shoot you. ;) I would rather not plan the first date, but here are some things I would like.A relaxed, not loud place so we can actually hear each other. Dinner and drinks is always a winning combo. I don't mind drinks after dinner, but first base is as far as this player goes first time at bat. ;) I wouldn't want to be picked up on the first date, so I don't mind driving to meet you. I love surprises, and would like you to plan something. Just tell me what I should wear so I don't show up to the theater in my jeans and cowboy boots or to mini golf in my evening gown.

    I'm here to meet new people, and hopefully make some new friends. I love sports, so that's a good place to start. I like watching movies. It's something I didn't do a lot of when I was younger, so I'm playing catch up at this point. I've got a few favorites, but there are still a TON that I want to watch. My top 5 consists of Fearless, Awakenings, The Big Lebowski, The Dark Knight, and Dog Day Afternoon. My tastes vary, and I can appreciate anything from a slapstick stupid comedy to a serious drama and everything in between. I'm not crazy about horror flicks, but I'll watch them from time to time. I'm also an avid fan of music, like most people. My favorite bands/artists are The Lumineers, Sublime, CCR, Jim Croce, and The Beatles. I love the older stuff, but I'll still listen to stuff that's playing on the radio today. I try not to be a music snob and keep an open mind about things. I am fluent in 2 languages right now. English and American Sign Language. (Yay, deaf parents!) I'm planning on going to school to become an interpreter. I'm planning on learning Spanish so I can be a tri-lingual interpreter. It'll be a fun gig. I'm open to trying new things. I like to learn new things every day, so if you're similar, that would be awesome. I like to go out and explore when the weather is nice enough. I love playing in the rain. I'm a fan of spring and summer - partly for the weather, partly for the fact that that's baseball season.I really just want to meet new people. I have a car, job, and my own place. I prefer that you have the same. Ultimately, I'd like to be in a relationship, but it's not an urgent thing, and I'd rather have it feel natural than forced. I want a good guy who will show me that he appreciates me, and cares for me. Why is that so hard to find? If you're interested, send me a message! If you really want to surprise me, take me to some batting cages so we can hit some baseballs! I used to play softball as a kid, and I loved it.
