Woman. 40 years old. Zodiac sign: Taurus.
Looking for: man. In age: 37-47
I'm an open minded woman that is willing to try anything once, I have always told my kids, "You never know till you try it". I view life with optimism and feel life should be lived to it's fullest! You only got one life...don't waist it living with all the, coulda, woulda, shoulda's!I'm a social butterfly and can carry a conversation with intelligence and not bore one with nonsense. I enjoy the very essense of being a woman, all there is with it and enjoy looking my best for me, and the one at my side...I want him to feel blessed, proud and valued with the woman walking by his side, (which means as an equal as well).I enjoy going to movies, right next to, lying on the couch, snuggling and enjoying one at home. I love to sit at a bookstore, with a cup of coffee for hours. I enjoy doing just about anything that won't get me killed or arrested! I am kind, compassionate and believe that you get what you give. I am not judgemental, and do not tolerate judgemental people well...imagine a world filled with only people that look, talk, dress, and behave like you..would get kinda boring! I don't try to be intentionally cruel to anyone, and have empathy for all walks of life, we are all unique in our own way. I'm extremely forgiving, but not to a point where I want one to walk all over me or manipulate my feelings. I am not a daily drinker and don't find those that feel the need to do it daily, attractive in any way. But I do enjoy my Cosmopolitans when I am out with the girls! I believe in space, and personal time, nobody wants to feel smothered, and we need that break every now and then. And I am not a jealous woman, I believe if you have a trusting and commited relationship, you should be able to trust those times when your man is "hanging with guys", I encourage it...it's healthy for a relationship. My oldest daughter is 19, and is working towards becoming a Neo-Natel RN. I do however have a 13 yr old at home, and she is an amazing kid! Momma did good raising her to have the same values as myself, and is mature for her age. I believe in raising "Successful" adults, and do not hold her hand with every trivial situation that comes her way. She is my priority, and I don't mind dating anyone with kids, as long as they are there priority as well. If you do not have children, it is a must that you be able to accept and understand where my priorities are with my daughter, she is and will always be #1...but when it is just myself and my man, he will know he is #1 and won't have to question it. I am not the typical woman as far as the phone, I have never been fond of talking hours on end on the phone. You can get a better sense of someone by talking face to face, vs the phone. Although, I must be honest and tell you now, I do not sit at my PC just waiting for my notifier to ring from my meetville subscription. It's a pet peev of mine when one begins assuming I am not who I say I am, just because I did not reply, call, text or communicate in anyway immediately to a message! We all have lives to live, and as I just said, I have my priorities, and I don't expect anyone to change there's just because of me. There may be a delay in my response...but I assure you, if I didn't already initiate and attempt to get to know you...I will, be patient with me, after reading my profile in full, you will learn that I do have a lot going on in my life, and have been through a lot in a short amount of time.I don't lie, much as the truth hurts, a lie hurts more! A lie is deceiving, where as the truth is what it is. I am a grown woman, and can take just about anything..but once you lie, the trust is broken. It is easy to give trust, but highly difficult to gain it back! I am forgiving, not stupid. I don't want to make my whole conversation about previous relationships, or about when I was married, we had a good marriage, but, a marriage can only take so much at once, and mine definitely broke the limits. It hasn't left me scorned, angry or a "Man Hater", but it has left me cautious and aware. We had a son born with Congenital Heart Disease and had 2 surgeries within his first week of life, and at 3 months, he passed away, it was a shock for me, considering the day before, his Cardiologist told me, "Whatever your doing, keep doing it, we really did not expect him to survive or even this long", the folowing day, he passed in my arms. Three years later, my oldest son joined the Marine Corp, right after High School and was deployed to Afghanistan shortly after Basic Training. Again, 3 months later he was KIA. (I do not like the #3) Where the first loss made us strong, the second was just too hard...as I said, a marriage can only take so much. An added note...I try to maintain myself and my weight and I do not find heavy men attractive in any way! When I say, "heavy", I direct that towards the couch potatoes, obese, and those that do not value themselves enough to try to live healthy! The big muscle guys...that is not an issue, only if your life is the gym...how do you expect to meet me? Please, don't waste our time with the run around, if your big, your big. There are women that are into big guys, just not me! And really, in this day and age, every tablet, smartphone, P.C., and MAC comes with spellcheck! If your going to put that your degree is higher than, "High School", at least send me a message that is grammatically correct!!?? And if you leave your, "Intentions", or, "Do you have a car?", section blank...I don't know any woman in there right mind that will respond!?? Oh...if your picture looks like your in a, "Hair Band"...forget it! I am not vain, or have an inflated ego, I know that I am a, well kept woman. If your not the same..please don't waste your time anticipating a response. I really don't mean to sound so cruel, I do believe that there is someone for everyone! And you will find someone attracted to that type...just not me. So I do apologize now for your misreading, or feelings that I have hurt. I just know what I am looking for, and I am worth what I am seeking.Good luck! I am open minded, surprise me with something different. Out of the box type of place. What sets you apart from every other guy? I have been told that I am different from most women, and I agree. I am worth something different, but you will have to be the judge of that! I can guarantee you, great conversation, a smile and an open mind. Can you be the, "out of the box" date? Surprise me...I am a simple woman, not a materialistic one. I LOVE originality!

Looking for: man. In age: 34-44
Short version:YOU:Smart, funny, active, FUN, likes to travel, stable, under 40, taller than me, attractive, disease free, affectionate, smiles (with good teeth) and has a little bit of a dominant personality. ME:Smart, extremely funny, active, FUN, loves to travel, stable, no children, attractive, disease free, affectionate, no baggage or drama, honest, motivated, passionate.Long version:I enjoy my life, work hard and am always seeking new adventures. I’d say I’m in a great place overall, but everything is more fun when you're with the right person! I’m outgoing, optimistic, passionate, active and very social. I’d describe myself as funny, easygoing and fun-loving, but I’m also ambitious, motivated and goal-oriented. I like keeping myself busy and engaged in the world; I believe in an anti-couch potato lifestyle. Every year is going to be the best year ever so I rarely turn down opportunities for new experiences! I have a youthful and adventurous spirit, and I want to soak it all up - all the world has to offer. I’m looking for someone who is outgoing and active, who loves life, traveling and having adventures; someone who I can joke around with, laugh with; who can laugh at themselves. In addition, my ideal mate is stable in his career and confident in his life choices. He’s ready for a long-term relationship with the right person. Chemistry, of course, is a vital part of it all; If there is a mutual interest, let’s meet up for a drink or something casual. I find the only way to tell is face to face…..I’m not interested in texting and/or *** weeks. I personally find it a little boring and I seem to lose interest if it goes on for too long. I’m just trying to be honest :)
