About Me

I'm an interesting Buddhist woman that's into body modification. Everything that falls in that category interests me, but that doesn't mean that I want to modify myself in those ways. I'm not one to quickly judge others, so hopefully you are not either. I am pierced and tattooed, but not excessively. I can maintain a professional appearance with little effort. I'm also a BBW, so if that bothers you, please move on. I find that people are naturally drawn to me, and I think you will be too once you get to know me. I love to cuddle more than anything in the world and just like being close to someone I care about. I can find romance in the smallest gesture. I'm low-maintenance, easy to please, and very open-minded. I was recently in a toxic relationship where I was constantly lied to, used, and I was judged based on how much I spent and how many tangible things I was able to offer. I just want someone who can actually care about me enough to be honest, and not expect the world while having nothing to offer in return. If I view your profile and don't send a message, don't be offended. I'm often too shy to send an initial message, especially if I think you're attractive. I'm used to cute guys seeing me as a big girl, but not seeing past that, so if I don't message you, I might just think I don't have a chance with you! In this day and age, most anything can be a date. I would prefer to stay away from something too busy and loud, like a concert, because I would like to be able to have a conversation at some point. Dates are for getting to know eachother, so it's important to be able to do that!

I'm a hard working and ambitious person but definitely make time to go out to concerts (I'm a bit of a concert junky), check out new bars/restaurants, or hang out at the local ones. I love trying new things and going out to explore the city. My passions are music, travel, food and the arts in general. I play the piano, sing and just starting to pick up the guitar which I'm really enjoying.- I range from indie bands, to jazz, to some r&b, to folk rock, to some classical. I try to do one big trip a year. I had horseshoes up the behind and had absolutely beautiful weather while I was out there so my opinion of the country may be a little skewed but ah well. It was a great trip so I'm not complaining!I'm looking for someone who has a good head on his shoulders, loves to do things (be it similar or different to my interests) and has an open-mind.

I work in the film and tv industry, and I can't imagine doing anything else. Essentially I just organize things but it's good depending on who you're working with. It's primarily contract based so I'll switch jobs often or like the time being be sans job which is nice every now and again. I've never lead this unemployed life before though so I'm still figuring out exactly what to do with my time. I've always had a little resentment to those lucky young people out at a cafe at 1pm and now I'm amongst their ranks, BEST. Also if you feel like meeting up at a cafe at 1pm on a workday I'm in. I've found myself doing a lot of crafting as a result which is a lot of fun at the very least and it's been a big hit for a few birthday gifts. That's right, I make things from nothing, I'm pretty much magic. I've always only ever been in relationships with people I've met in real life so this is my first real sware into trying to date via online dating. It's been interesting. Yea. Interesting. I really love camping though it's been way too long since I've been portaging. I'm finally really learning more about food and how to cook and really enjoying it. Every once in a while i'll watch a vegetarian propaganda film and almost switch back (I was a vege for 5 years). But I haven't gone all the way back....yet. Basically I'd rather talk to you in real life then on the computer. I don't want to have a long engaging e-mail connection I want to talk to a real person. So if we've written a few messages back and forth how about we just meat up ***? cool. I think it's nice to start on no one's home turf. Pick a spot at random in-between each others houses and commit to nowhere to go for better or worse (though that sounds awkward for a first date when I put it that way!). I think the best way to get get to know each other is to discover something together besides each other whether it be walking down a street you've never seen or trying a food you've never had, ect. That way you get to see how you react to new situations together.Movies are the worst for first dates so not that. Coffee/Tea/Bar are always win for a first meeting in my books.
