About Me

I work in the film and tv industry, and I can't imagine doing anything else. Essentially I just organize things but it's good depending on who you're working with. It's primarily contract based so I'll switch jobs often or like the time being be sans job which is nice every now and again. I've never lead this unemployed life before though so I'm still figuring out exactly what to do with my time. I've always had a little resentment to those lucky young people out at a cafe at 1pm and now I'm amongst their ranks, BEST. Also if you feel like meeting up at a cafe at 1pm on a workday I'm in. I've found myself doing a lot of crafting as a result which is a lot of fun at the very least and it's been a big hit for a few birthday gifts. That's right, I make things from nothing, I'm pretty much magic. I've always only ever been in relationships with people I've met in real life so this is my first real sware into trying to date via online dating. It's been interesting. Yea. Interesting. I really love camping though it's been way too long since I've been portaging. I'm finally really learning more about food and how to cook and really enjoying it. Every once in a while i'll watch a vegetarian propaganda film and almost switch back (I was a vege for 5 years). But I haven't gone all the way back....yet. Basically I'd rather talk to you in real life then on the computer. I don't want to have a long engaging e-mail connection I want to talk to a real person. So if we've written a few messages back and forth how about we just meat up ***? cool. I think it's nice to start on no one's home turf. Pick a spot at random in-between each others houses and commit to nowhere to go for better or worse (though that sounds awkward for a first date when I put it that way!). I think the best way to get get to know each other is to discover something together besides each other whether it be walking down a street you've never seen or trying a food you've never had, ect. That way you get to see how you react to new situations together.Movies are the worst for first dates so not that. Coffee/Tea/Bar are always win for a first meeting in my books.

Hello! I'll play along and write something, even though you may not read it. I'm a good sport. As you know from writing your own, these brief paragraphs can in no way encapsulate who we are as people. Here goes...I have a 10-year-old son, the fact that I mention him first should indicate where he stands in my life. I have no drama related to him except the occasional football injury and maybe talking in class when he's not supposed to. : ) I'm open to dating men with children because I have one, but if you have children and don't take care of them then I'm not going to like you. If you have children and you brag about taking care of them then I'm not going to like you either, because that's what you're supposed to do. Do you brag about showering and brushing your teeth too? LOL! I'm very direct, I do not propagate or perpetuate issues/negativity/drama. The day brings enough on it's own. I live a simple, happy, grateful life. I don't like to fight, I don't seek reasons to be upset. A little about me: My interests are kind of limitless because I love trying new things. My ideal date is anything from an art gallery to a football game. I love to travel and to be outside. I have a very hungry creative side - I draw, paint, design and am into photography, and I bake like Paula Deen. I'm a big time football fan and play fantasy football. I work hard, volunteer in my community, travel, read, seek self-improvement and am secure/comfortable with who I am.-working/hard playing and not afraid to march to the beat of your own drum, then we'll probably get along. I'm curious to know if you took the time to read all this, so mention the word "blue" in your note to me to let me know you did. Have a blessed day, good luck out there and happy fishing!

What to say, what to say? I hate dating sites, but it seems to be a necessary evil these days. I have not been asked out on a date once in person. Apparently I'm intimidating lol.I'm a hair stylist, I feel lucky to be doing something I love. It makes me feel like I am important. I try to go out as much as possible, otherwise I will end up a hermit. Any reason to stay inside. I'm pretty sure I was a bear in a previous life, I could totally sleep through the winter, I scratch my back on trees and I love honey. Bam! Mind blown...LolI don't know why, but little old ladies like to say to me "a beautiful girl like you won't stay single for long" . That has to be my least favorite comment, just because some one is pretty it doesn't mean they should be in a relationship, I just don't get it. Is there something wrong with a girl who is single? Ok, I'm off my soap box, discuss. So as a true romantic you would think I would enjoy long walks on the beach, blah blah blah. I would prefer a little more thought into it. Maybe bring a blanket and a bottle of wine on the beach at night. I honestly just want a date where we can't shut up, and feel like you could talk to the person for a lifetime. Oh and physical attraction doesn't hurt either.
