Hey there! I'm a girl who has always lived by the motto of "work hard, play hard." I value my career and have worked hard to get where I am today. I feel incredibly lucky to have a job that I love and one that allows me to work on an issue I'm passionate about: protecting the environment. However, I still like play more than work:) I appreciate my downtime and my fun time equally. You'll catch me at a bar one weekend night, and then other will be spent cooking a meal and watching a movie or reading a good book. I like to explore and do different things around the city: festivals, concerts, hikes at metro parks or nature preserves, running 5ks, and any type of wine/beer/coffee/food focused event. I enjoy traveling but not the kind where you mash in as much as can be managed in a week; again, it's all about the balance of adventure and relaxation. I travel a decent amount for work so my vacations have to include at least a few days of laying by a pool or at the beach. Plus, I lived at the beach for four years post-undergrad, so I need my fix from this land-locked state! Love listening to music and discovering new bands. I like all kinds of music, but my favorite type is probably indie.Friends and family are a huge part of my life. I love spending time with them and playing auntie to my friend's kids. I try to just enjoy life and am really excited to meet someone to share it with and build a family together.What I'm looking for from a partner: -challenges me intellectually-makes me laugh but not by telling jokes at others expense-values family and friends-has a work/life balance but still has career aspirations-values honesty and trust (no history of cheating)-someone that I have some serious chemistry with...there's nothing better than a good kisser.Bonus points if you:-want a family-prefer the city or rural life over suburbia-care about the environment-enjoy downtime-into fitness and would be up for a 5k or easy hike-are financially responsible-are affectionate.Nothing against you if this list doesn't match you- I just know what I'm looking for at this point in my life!
