I don't even have a return ticket home yet and I'm not in any hurry to go back. But I am taking this opportunity to help with my Grandfather's care and keeping an open mind as to where this is leading me. Hello....I'm glad you stopped by. I am hoping to be in the right place at the right time to meet the right fellow. I live in the rural neck of the woods and I am ready to share my life. It's hard to find a good match in such a small pond. I am blessed with a home and beautiful surroundings but I am not necessarily anchored here. I am open-minded about life. I believe what goes around comes around and try to live my life with that in mind. I appreciate all types of music like Blues, Jazz, Classic Rock, Country, and some Rap can be fun to dance to. I also enjoy music from the 50's and 60's. Ok, sappy, but I like it. And...ok....totally by accident (of course), I was listening to an old Bee Gee's YouTube upload....The greatest songs, I believe it was called.... like.... "More Than a Woman to Me," (amongst others) and I rather enjoyed it. I would like to be more active (it's better when you can do things with someone). Clubs, dinner, rides at the fair, and traveling would be fun. I would also like someone to show me some of their interests such as golf or snow skiing if that's what you like. I also like hanging out at home, watching TV, surfing the web, walks, cooking or making a garden with someone special. I have done many different things in life. I used to play and sing in a band, worked with the elderly, worked with children, and developmentally challenged adults and children. I have worked in a restaurant/pub during the day. I am one math class away from an associates degree (I'm not much of a math girl). But over all I would consider myself a musician/singer more than anything else. Harmony has always come naturally to me and it would really be a plus if we could share that interest. I'm not afraid of a microphone and a stage :) I don't like control freaky types of people but that doesn't mean I don't like someone to lead or guide, or even protect as a gentleman would do. I am not threatened by a more traditional type of relationship. I would like to find my best friend and it turn into love or vice versa. Someone who makes me feel like I want to be a better person and who finds that in me as well. Someone who accepts this red head exactly the way I am. I am honest, loyal, giving and an individual. Hard to describe myself. I enjoy time with family and friends but also time alone. I love to talk and laugh. I'm something of a clutz so lots of opportunity to laugh at myselfI could write a million things trying to describe myself and what type of man im attracted to but that's hard to do and too much time. What im not attracted too is photos of men in recliners, stay at home men on disability (im far to outgoing for that lifestyle) or men with shirts off unless your outdoors. Im not going to lie and deceive in order to attract companionship. There's nothing exceptional about me or my life. Im a woman who still believes the right man is out there for me. I do consider myself of above average intelligence tho my actions sometimes makes it hard for even me to believe that statement. Lol so what I am so badly trying to say is I'm pretty good at ciphering thru lies and deception and that's not the type of man I want anywhere near me. Please do not make the mistake of wishing for a relationship as a invitation to talk trashy. I am looking for a man of substance and compatability.***ok so I been working on this non-smoking for 3 wks and 2 days and Lordy its been hard. Yes I've cheated few times but I am deteremined to quit for good. I can't have my evening glass of wine right now bc I don't know how to sip w/o smoking yet lol I will prevail! ! I would like to say a day out on a boat deep-sea fishing but probably not best idea incase date goes badly I may end up tossed at sea (lol) tho personally hard for me to imagine a bad day fishing. Water, sun, boating, laughing and fishing brings out the calm in me.
