I am a fun loving person. Ready for the next chapter of my life. Enjoy going out to movies or staying in and snuggling on the sofa and watching the newest flick. I also enjoy me time; reading, sewing, gardening, walking. I love helping people! Im a fun person and a good Nana to 5 babies! Music relaxes and excites me enough to dance amd I love to sing!Time to get out of my shell and mingle! Life is too short! You're just waiting to die, too afraid to live. Ive made up my mind to LIVE! LAUGH! AND LOVE!Im a very honest person, so please, no drama, liars, or head games! Lets be friends and have fun! See where life takes us! I would like to get to know you over dinner and take a stroll along the river. Maybe watch the sunset or go listen to a band. Maybe stop in a bar and sing karaoke or just dance!

I've been on this site for a little while now, and although I've met some very nice men I haven't met the guy that makes my heart skip a beat. I'm looking for a professional guy who has a great sense of humor, is hard working, fiscally sound, and values his relationships. I enjoy spending time with intelligent men who are confident but not arrogant.- even at himself! :DI could tell you what a fantastic "catch" I am, but then my profile would sound just like thousands of others - and I'm many things, but not run-of-the-mill. People make assumptions about me when we first meet. I surprise them, even years later. I'm not a thrill seeker, but have the mindset of an adventurer. I enjoy seeking out new places and experiences. I'm curious and intelligent, organzed but not rigid. (An ESTP for those who know about MBTI.)For example, my favorite vacations are pretty free-form. We had a rental car, vouchers for each night we'd be there, and a vague plan of what we wanted to see. Our GPS took us down some interesting roads - we laughed a lot and made so many wonderful memories.I'm looking for a man who is willing to travel with me. Life is short - let's make some memories of our own! For an initial meet-and-greet the standard coffee, drinks after work, lunch, or ice cream work. When it comes to a first date I think it's easier to get to know someone when you have an activity you're both involved in. So maybe....going out for pizza, shooting pool, a trip to an aquarium or zoo, going to a flea market or bookstore, taking a cooking class together, checking out an exhibit at a museum, antiquing (I don't know anything about them but think the history behind things is fascinating), wine tasting, sightseeing or people watching, or finding a place with good music and maybe a little dancing? (Or please, suggest something - I love surprises! ;D )

Really like my life, but good company can make everything better. I like spending time with my animals - I'm a sucker for four-legged companions - cooking a nice meal to enjoy with a glass of wine, good conversation, and working out. I also enjoy walking - essential with two big dogs - and I'm trying to learn how to fly-fish, but so far spend most of my time untangling knots in the line. I learned to scuba dive a few years ago and would like to find someone who wants to explore underwater, too. I'm a reading junkie, particularly mysteries and some sci- John. Love complex and challenging dramas. Browsing in book stores is an addiction, along with good coffee. Love to travel and would like to see more of the world. I'd like to meet someone intelligent with an adventurous spirit, a great sense of humor and a positive outlook. Politics are way left; I'm pretty much a former hippie who conformed enough to get by. I'm frequently appalled and dismayed at the greed and arrogance of our so-called elected officials and the direction we are heading. Not interested in playing mommy or wasting time on an alcoholic. Sorry if that's harsh, but at least I'm honest! Coffee or lunch for a first date. If it's great we can plan a longer date later and if it's awful, we both have an escape.
